A delicious restaurant/trattoria in the center of San Mauro Castelverde, a village at 1,000 meters above sea level, just a few kilometers from the sea. Delicious food and very friendly staff.

Delightful location. Local wine and good food. The varied appetizer platter was a delight for the palate. The pasta with Nebrodi pork ragù was excellent. And to finish, the panna cotta was delicious. Very friendly and efficient service. Our table was on a delightful terrace. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

I spent this weekend, April 25th and 26th, in San Mauro Castelverde. I visited the Tiberio Gorges and stayed at the Casa dell'Angelo. In the evening, I went to dinner at Borgovecchio. I must say, it's a restaurant and pizzeria, very well-maintained, both aesthetically and in terms of service. Not to mention their products, which are delicious and well-prepared. The dishes are generous and the cooking is expertly done. We were satisfied and recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the area.
