11/01/2026: The food was delicious, the wait staff was incredibly kind, and there's nothing to complain about here either! However, I have to give the owner a very bad review. He's not an honest person. I'll explain right away: sent by a dear friend of his, I booked with The Fork, which offered a 20% discount. I dined without any problems, arrived at the restaurant, and was told twice that desserts weren't included in the discount. So I had no problem paying. When I got home, I checked more closely, did some research, and contacted The Fork customer service... where, in fact, I was told that ALL FOOD, EVEN DESSERTS, were eligible for the discount, except for cover charge and drinks. As I well knew, I've attached photos of proof. That said, I felt scammed. For less than €10, then... I hope they'll come to their senses. Shame on you, never again.

10/01/2026: Good evening, having toured the best restaurants in Palermo in my life, I have never, ever, had such an incredible experience as the one we had at dinner tonight. Even though everything was relatively acceptable, I've personally never been in the position of being ripped off by misleading advertising through The Fork... Gentlemen, think about it... not only is the thought of such people despicable... but even more so is the fact that knowing you'll be welcomed so well, being ripped off at the last minute always calls into question everything you've done beforehand during the dinner and the service, alas, to the detriment of the poor, innocent waiters forced to pay the price because of their owners, who completely believed, not for a moment, that their customers were locals like everyone else and therefore, as decent people, ripped off by your unscrupulousness in ripping us off with misleading advertising... Having come to this... good life...

14/01/2026: it is a nice, small and cozy restaurant, close to the city centre but in a quiet local neighbourhood. We ordered a lunch menu (meat and fish version), the food was delicious for a very reasonable price. The staff is super friendly with basic level of English but good enough to have a simple conversation. We would definitely recommend this place.

20/12/2025: This bakery is truly excellent. The bread is delicious, fragrant, and you can taste it's made with quality flour. The crispy, light pastries are exquisite. But the real highlight is the panettone, artisanal and incredibly fragrant, one of the best I've ever tasted. The staff is also... incredibly helpful! Highly recommended! A well-deserved five stars!

15/08/2025: Ferragosto at Costa Ponente: a beautiful evening We spent Ferragosto at Costa Ponente and it was truly a wonderful experience. The location is enchanting, right on the sea, with a postcard-perfect view that alone was worth the evening. The elegant and welcoming atmosphere was enhanced by excellent live music. The staff was welcoming, smiling, and always available: we felt pampered from start to finish. The menu offered for the occasion was delicious, dishes carefully prepared and served with attention to detail. The finale with fireworks over the sea was a truly evocative moment that made this evening unforgettable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended for those looking for a special Ferragosto, with good food, natural beauty, and impeccable service.

15/08/2025: The Ferragosto evening at Costa Ponente was simply magical. The atmosphere was unique thanks to the soft lighting, the sea as a backdrop, and the captivating music that lingered throughout the night. The organization was impeccable: from the friendly and prompt service, to the menu full of fresh and flavorful dishes, to the entertainment that had all the guests dancing and having fun. The fireworks display over the sea was thrilling and capped off a perfect evening filled with joy and conviviality. A Ferragosto that will remain in your heart! Thanks to Fabrizio and Ilaria, who always make everything wonderfully extraordinary.

07/01/2026: Avoid this place completely!!! The carbonara is creamy, with store-bought pasta and some kind of ham instead of guanciale. Lots of pepper. We asked for a glass of warm water and got the yellow liquid pictured. The house wine was undrinkable. We left three-quarters of the pasta and almost all the wine. A disaster. Price-wise, it's OK - carbonara €8, wine €2.

22/11/2025: On our way to Palermo, we stopped in Scillato for a little exercise and to experience the atmosphere of a Sicilian village. This cozy village is located just off the highway. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-kept houses, the abundance of flowers, orange trees, charming cats, and even a turtle living in a small artificial pond. The Fiore D'Arancio bar made a special impression: the excellent coffee and freshly baked pastries simply stole our hearts. A huge thank you to the girls working there for their warmth and hospitality!

03/11/2025: "I discovered rotisserie heaven in this bar! The quality and flavor of their dishes are simply incredible. I ate the rotisserie and I have to say it was the best I've ever tasted. The staff is friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. If you love rotisserie, you can't miss a visit to this bar. The best rotisserie in the province of Palermo and beyond, without a doubt.

09/11/2025: At Romano's, I can say I enjoyed it. My partner ate her usual pasta dishes. After a misunderstanding with the second course, which she'd order individually at other places (half carbonara and half cacio e pepe, but never forcing the other diner), we devoured pumpkin (I don't know if it was frozen), well-cooked without too much oil, mozzarella in carrozza, a delicious lamb chop (where foreigners looked at me askance because I ate with my hands), and...now it's your turn to try it. I love second courses, so I'll try new dishes again, always leaving the first courses to my better half. The price...could be better, but we're talking about unique cuisine. The downside...parking, 20 minutes of driving around, and we parked 1.5 km away, and we weren't sure if we had to pay for scratch cards (hard to find) on Saturdays. Otherwise, we were satisfied, and the staff was patient and helpful, even when we asked to take the rest of the dishes away.

03/11/2025: Great small restaurant a short way from Teatro Garibaldi, on a not-too-busy street corner. Nice outside seating and nice inside as well. Very good servers make sure you're happy throughout, but are not a nuisance. I had the delicious eponymous pasta dish (Tonnarelli Magna Roma) and an eponymous drink, the Spritz Magna Roma. Both were terrific and reasonably priced. The drink was somewhat darker and made me think of a Negroni Spritz (which I have not seen). The pasta was a more interesting variation on the carbonara, with mushrooms and crunchy artichoke slices. Very good! Another time I had tonnarelli pasta with zucchini, and it was delicious! Spicy accents of black pepper in the cheesy sauce, and wonderful grilled zucchini. And they are known for their Cacio e Pepe, a classic Roman dish that they do very well! Very pleasant and relaxing place. I'm a regular now!

11/11/2025: A very nice restaurant. Very good food and very friendly service. Pizza is only available in the evenings. It's worth a visit, especially since the prices are very reasonable. It's just a shame the grappa is so expensive (but everywhere in Italy grappa is so damn expensive). I highly recommend it!
