26/04/2025: Esperienza al limite per Saccharum, una pizzeria che - se fosse un ristorante recensito da Michelin - avrebbe almeno due stelle. Il perché è presto detto: ambiente gradevole ed elegante, design contemporaneo realizzato con materiali pregiati, servizio attento e preparato, carta vini sorprendente, e percorso degustazione pizze in abbinamento alle bevande di assoluto successo (55 euro, vini e birre incluse). Per le stesse "emozioni" un ristorante accreditato chiede almeno 150 euro. Cosa abbiamo mangiato? Una selezione di piccoli antipasti, come il pan brioche al BBQ di quaglia, Tuma fritta, arancinette con verdure e alici, tre tipi do sfincione, panetto ai semi con porchetta. Poi, Pizzetta Siciliana al pomodoro siccagno, acciughe di Aspra, caciocavallo siciliano, cipolla caramellata; la Pizza Croccante con fiordilatte campana, bresaola di tonno, zucchine genovesi, cipolla caramellata, menta e maionese alla bottarga; la Pizza Tonda, con fiordilatte campana, prosciutto cotto di alta qualità, carciofi arrostiti, scaglie di parmigiano e tartufo nero; la Pizza Spick & Crock, con gamberi rossi di Mazara, stracciatella, zucchine marinate, zest di limone e olio extravergine d’oliva al basilico; per dessert, una focaccina dolce con miele di zagara, ricotta di pecora e scorza di limone candita. Varie le sale, alcune hanno le poltroncine in stoffa o velluto. Che ne dite?

19/03/2025: Disappointing impact. The lobby of the place is not at all well-kept. The interior is better. Too bad, instead of local products, we ate products from the supermarket. The pasta was fresh, but a small baking dish for three people seems too little to me. Dressing with a telescope. The second courses were a total disappointment. Half a very thin slice of pork shoulder, two sausage knots.. a meatball. A tuft of lettuce from the supermarket on the side. Normal dessert. At the end they served me grappa in a paper cup!!!!!😱😱😱😱...but also NO!!! The wine was good. The bill was too expensive for what we ate. Organize yourselves better. €120 for three seems a bit too much for what we ate. I would have gladly paid more if I had found freshness and abundance. I'm very sorry, but next time I definitely won't stop.

29/04/2025: There were 4 of us on a Monday evening, the place was almost deserted so there was no confusion that could in any way justify this negative experience. Among the 4, I am the only one to order a pasta dish (farfalle with salmon) which arrives after less than 5 minutes (the sauce is clearly ready and reheated). Leaving aside the dubious flavor of the dish which I could have overlooked, the others' pizzas arrived about 20 minutes later than my pasta dish. As a good civilized and polite person that I am, going out with these friends of mine after a lifetime, naturally I waited for their dish to arrive before starting to eat: obviously the pasta becomes cold, if we add the fact that 90% of the sauce was cream/béchamel and therefore not even a fresh/freshly prepared sauce, we arrive at a terrible result. Now I say, what does it take to understand that if the pizzas aren't ready, isn't it nice to bring the pasta half an hour beforehand to the only person who should eat it? What should I have done? Eat alone while the others watch and finish as soon as the pizza arrives? This seemed absurd to me. I didn't send the dish back to have it remade because I was sure they would just reheat it, in addition to the fact that I didn't want to ruin the convivial atmosphere between us friends for a "silly thing". But it was right then, separately, to say things as they were, because here I believe an almost obvious basis was missing. That is, I who have nothing to do with the world of catering and understand practically nothing about it, am able to understand that all the dishes should have been brought together or, at most, within a few minutes of each other (even more so if it was a Monday evening with few customers and not a Saturday!).

10/09/2024: Locale eccellente all'avanguardia con le risorse alimentari e molto economico presenta un'eleganza fuori dall'ordinario molto comodo e confortevole lo staff super simpatico e professionale il gelato è decisamente tra i migliori mai assaggiati quindi lo consiglio assolutamente in questo bar di trappeto troverete tutto ciò che un cliente può desiderare in oltre dotato di mansarda sufficentemente spaziosa dove poter consumare tranquillamente un buon caffè o ciò che più vi aggrada

18/03/2025: I spent two hours admiring the small port of Sant'Erasmo on a cool sunny day, talking about Mauritius and Turin, eating amazing arancine with sardines, olives and pine nuts as well as a salmon tartare with dill sauce. Sympathy, courtesy, delicacies and views. Leave me one more place.
