03/06/2026: We had dinner there as a party of four on Sunday evening. It was definitely the worst restaurant we've eaten at in two weeks in Sicily. In fact, I don't think I've ever had such a bad meal in a restaurant in this price range. It was on par with a school cafeteria: bad, but not exactly toxic. Even the pasta was awful, unbelievable! And I won't even mention the sickly dim lighting in the dining room. I don't understand how anyone could have positive reviews for this restaurant. Or perhaps we were incredibly unlucky, and the night we dined there, all the cooks were on vacation and had emptied the fridges before leaving... the bill was still exorbitant. I slept very poorly the following night, fuming over how badly I'd ruined dinner. Avoid it at all costs! My apologies to the staff, who were alright.

12/06/2026: Honestly not worth it, had way better meals in restaurants spending 1/10 from the prices in here, i went with high expectations but the flavors were bland at best, the staff was pretty nice but the food was nothing special, for 450 euros for 2 people wouldn’t recommend it at all

29/05/2026: Palermo's only Michelin-starred restaurant. I always make a point of visiting a Michelin-starred restaurant during my travels, so I made a reservation in advance to visit during my trip to Sicily as well. To start with the conclusion, I am not sure if it was worth the 200 euros per person price tag. While there were experimental and creative menu items, the flavors of the food were generally not very pleasant. The service and atmosphere were befitting of fine dining, but the English descriptions of the dishes were generally difficult to understand. If asked if I would visit again, the answer is no. There are plenty of alternatives where you can dine for 400 euros for two people, including tip.

02/11/2025: Stayed at a near by all inclusive hotel. Without getting transport to closest tourist places, Cefalu or Palmero, there is nothing outside of the hotel complex. 2 weeks ago there was a Ferrari car tribute event so had a walk out along the road to watch AND stumbled on this GREAT LITTLE CAFE. Having already eaten, Just stopped for a coffee (and beer🫣😂). Looks to be run by a family, with a great selection of authentic food and drink. Also very reasonably priced. A good break from an all inclusive hotel, experiencing more culture. Very polite and welcoming. English isn't great so like a game of sharards but that was the authenticity we liked of true Sicily 😃. Overheard others who had a meal saying how nice the food was. Even if it's only a walk out of the hotel and a drnykike us, support this great independent

From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a wonderful atmosphere: the staff is incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and incredibly helpful. The bartender is an absolute phenomenon. If you need advice, don't just look at the menu: ask for an off-menu cocktail. Let your taste buds inspire you and trust her; she knows how to amaze with unique and truly impressive creations. The evening's soundtrack is provided by talented DJs who know exactly how to raise the mood without ever being intrusive. The place attracts a wonderful clientele: the company here is so pleasant, easygoing, and fun that, as soon as you leave, you'll already want to book for the following weekend. 02/05/2026: I ordered Big cup of 50/50 Coffee / Pistachio taste. Coffee taste was bitter, so it was really similar to coffee, yet I tried sweeter variants. Pistachio was good, it was sweeter than I tried in other gelateries and it didn't have salty aftertaste (which I generally like).

24/07/2026: I had a wonderful dinner here. The monkfish was amazing. Make sure you reserve a table - I went to the restaurant to do this but you can call. Worth the money.

06/07/2026: Nice atmosphere, soft lighting, friendly service, and very little waiting. The pizza was delicious, perhaps one of the best in the area, but the prices were significantly higher than other pizzerias in the area, with a cover charge of €2.50 per person, a price for which I'd expect at least tablecloths. A small beer was €4.50. A bit too much. Also, given the final bill of €101, I would have thought it more courteous to lower it to €100, but I understand that's a request that doesn't necessarily have to be granted.

07/07/2026: Bartender rolled his eyes when we came in the door. They are exceptionally pretentious, condescending and rude to tourists and travellers. We got a gin and tonic and a small beer for €12 and they were both extremely basic and lacked any depth of flavour. Definitely avoid if you are a tourist. They obviously don’t like them.

08/06/2026: It was my first evening of vacation, and I was thrilled to be enjoying a nice glass of wine in a lovely setting. The bartender had the nerve to sigh twice in annoyance in front of me because I hesitated for seven seconds between two wines. It's really awful to do that, even if you're having a bad day. Go for a run if people annoy you.

14/06/2026: If you going anywhere in Cefalu, you must visit Mimma and Giuseppe’s restaurant. The lasagne is to die for, as well as the service and hospitality. Both Mimma and Giuseppe are real gems, and we loved it here so much we visited 3 times!
