12/07/2026: I've dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe and North America, and I find it very difficult to understand how they maintain their distinction. I was there with my 9-year-old daughter, and the service was clearly less attentive than for adult diners. The execution was sometimes questionable. The beef carpaccio was smothered in a mustard-based sauce that masked any potential subtlety the dish could have had. The pasta was exquisite, of course. However, the pork belly was undercooked, and the sauces it was served in lacked finesse. On a positive note, the homemade bread and desserts were better, though not enough on their own to justify a star.

05/07/2026: Tasting done. Excellent culinary experience, attentive and thoughtful service. I can only give everything a 5! Well deserved! Well done! The only thing I would say is the quantity of some dishes. I understand it's a tasting, but I would have appreciated a few more grams in some dishes, just to "experience" the flavor of the dish.

17/07/2026: Looking for a real, authentic Sicilian restaurant? Homemade cuisine, just like at home. We received a very warm welcome and ate wonderfully. It's simple food, but made with love. 24/06/2026: The only plus point was the service, with extremely kind and professional staff. Let's start with the appetizers: mediocre swordfish meatballs, tasting only of pine nuts and raisins, extremely dry, and with onions that further covered everything; Calamari tartare was good but extremely full of oil that masked the flavor of an excellent raw material; off-menu spaghetti with lobster, which was truly delicious, in fact the only valid dish; Tuna steak was completely overcooked, breaded with black sesame seeds that completely covered any other flavor, hard and dry potatoes (I fear they were old), and a large amount of onion that, in my opinion, was inappropriate for the delicate nature of the tuna. AND EVEN WORSE, the waiter allowed some customers to smoke inside the restaurant (indoors and near the fish counter) using tobacco heaters (IQOS) that had an absolutely unpleasant, truly unacceptable smell; acceptable outdoors, but absolutely not indoors and near the counter.

14/04/2026: Everything is delicious and fresh, prepared to order with authentic ingredients. A quiet, cool table to enjoy a plate of antipasti or a very tasty (cold) panini with a glass of wine. As an added bonus, smiles and service in French.

07/08/2026: Gangi is a hidden gem in Sicily that is not yet overrun by tourists. There are few restaurants. We stumbled upon this one by chance. The prices are very local and low. We are from Belgium, and you can't eat anywhere for this price there. The food is amazing. Come here to taste real Italian cuisine. Very cozy terrace at the back of the restaurant.

04/08/2026: The place was empty for hours, but they told us we could only sit in a small, dingy room. We finished dinner and the place was still practically empty, absurd.

01/05/2026: Antica Focacceria in Cefalù is truly a fantastic place in the heart of the city. The quality of the ingredients is excellent: everything is fresh, tasty, and prepared with great care. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. A great plus is the comfortable seating, allowing you to enjoy everything at your leisure in the center of Cefalù. It was truly a pleasure stopping here. In my opinion, one of the best focaccerias in the area. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

14/12/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after a trek in the Ficuzza forest. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food excellent, and the selection of meats excellent. Excellent value for money. We'll be happy to return.

18/01/2026: This morning my husband and I decided to have breakfast here to try the famous XXL croissant and also the aperitif... we were really very satisfied, everything was delicious, a quiet atmosphere and fabulous staff, very kind and helpful... the XXL croissant was really good and the creams that accompany it were very tasty, then with the aperitif you can have all the sweets you prefer, we had some puff pastries and fried foods, everything was good

22/04/2026: Just steps from the bustling Via Maqueda, this quiet spot, away from the constant flow of people, is a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious pizza. Truly excellent pizza, made with quality ingredients, fast and attentive service, and reasonable prices. The menu offers some very interesting specialty pizzas.

01/05/2026: We had lunch at the restaurant and it was a great experience. We were very lucky because we found room for two even though we hadn't booked! They seated us at a table next to the cellar, where the location and temperature were perfect! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The menu was varied and featured typical local products. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

25/04/2026: We booked a table for two. We arrived at the agreed-upon time, and our table for two was located at the entrance, near the pizza oven, amidst the staff shuffling between the kitchen and the dining room. Furthermore, those waiting for takeout pizzas were lingering near our table, sometimes bumping into us due to the cramped space. When I complained, the dining room manager completely failed to understand or empathize with our obvious discomfort, even refusing to seat us at other tables—not because they were reserved, but because they were tables for four, not two. And all this despite the fact that a couple of tables for four were already occupied by couples, well into their meal and therefore not waiting for other guests to arrive. In short, an unbecoming and very provincial attitude for a place that claims to be classy. We grabbed a couple of takeout pizzas and said goodbye. A terrible example of Sicilian hospitality to Sicilians.

The service was impeccable in every way: attentive, professional, and meticulously caring, making us feel pampered at every moment. The true heart of the property, however, is the owner, Giuliana. She's a wonderful, cheerful person with a unique sense of hospitality. With her grace and thoughtful attention, she transformed a simple event (my mother's retirement party) into an unforgettable experience, making us feel not just like customers, but like valued guests in the home of friends. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere, the exceptional food, and the venue's flawless coordination of every detail allowed us to experience a magical day that we wouldn't change a thing about. Thanks to Marco and Giuliana for accompanying us over the months leading up to a wedding that far exceeded our expectations.
