26/03/2025: I went to Mastunicola on a Saturday evening, 10pm shift, we were seated immediately and the service was friendly and efficient (even if I don't like being asked several times during the evening if everything is going well, it makes you feel a bit controlled). The pizza (I took the Spaccanapoli if I'm not mistaken) was exceptional: high but crunchy crust, thin pizza itself, delicate and perfectly balanced toppings. Certainly a pizza that you remember, but not because it stays on your stomach, quite the opposite. Although via Venezia does not represent a splendid location, the place itself is beautiful and elegant.

24/03/2025: Excellent pizza, we took two both good, I liked the red draft beer less. I followed the waiter's suggestion regarding the addition of truffle on the pizza, which I later discovered was worth €7, which I paid in full even though we had said from the beginning that my partner would not have wanted it on her half, service, at the very least, inattentive.

22/03/2025: Typical trattoria with good quality at very reasonable prices. You eat at the table with other customers. Unpretentious place but worth a visit.

16/03/2025: A very authentic local restaurant with a great atmosphere! The staff and the owner are very friendly, the food is excellent and cheap. I regret only that we visited it on the last day of our vacation, as we would definitely have returned!

01/03/2025: This evergreen and ever changing joint is quintessential when in town. From the decor to the service to the dishes, it's a true Sicilian statement. We had such a variety of starters and main courses, many of which had cold/hot and firm/raw contrasts statement of a more modern Sicilian staples yet still carrying the identity and the traditions. As a family run business they'll make you feel at home, the ground floor is wheelchair accessible as far as I can remember, if you can book a table on the first floor with the view and breeze from the harbour. Somewhat difficult to park in the summer, so take a walk there if you can. About €45 euros per person for a full meal

13/02/2025: Excellent pizza, well leavened, highly digestible, no nighttime thirst. The waitress and cashier staff were very kind and professional. The guys in charge of the pizza are amazing, as well as competent. Highly recommended both for takeaway and especially in the dining room.

24/03/2025: Excellent pizza topped with quality ingredients. Dough for lovers of Neapolitan pizza, therefore soft. Fast and present service. Reservations required as it is a highly rated place in the city. Recommended.

16/03/2025: Place located in front of the cathedral, we ordered two very good croissants and two coffees at the counter. The girl at the counter was very cute, while the guy who prepared our coffee was not very empathetic.
