Very overrated restaurant. We ordered à la carte, and the portions were very small. The tuna tartare was good but not exceptional. The fish of the day was overcooked and lacked flavor. The fillet was tiny. The wine list was very good. We were on the terrace and saw two cockroaches go by.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu and wine pairing - I would highly recommend if you’re looking to have a special evening. A very interesting take on traditional Sicilian dishes and ingredients.

The restaurant is located within the historic walls of a 16th-century building, the former studio of Antonello Gagini, the most important sculptor of the Sicilian Renaissance. This special place blends past and present in a way that you feel the moment you step inside. The artworks of Per Barclay, the renowned Norwegian artist, lend the ambiance an additional, distinctive depth. The result: an atmosphere that is simply breathtaking – harmonious, warm, and with a soul all its own. The cuisine is a true experience: authentic Sicilian dishes, creatively and expertly interpreted at the highest level – using ingredients sourced directly from the region and prepared with a passion that you can taste on your plate. These were complemented by local wines that harmonized perfectly with the food and worthily represented Sicily's wine culture. The service was attentive, warm, and professional – we immediately felt welcome and well taken care of. The icing on the cake: exquisite music played in the background on a high-end turntable, lending the evening a very special, almost intimate atmosphere. Gagini isn't just a restaurant – it's a journey through Sicily's history, culture, and cuisine. Highly recommended, especially for a special evening.

Exquisite! This restaurant ticks all the boxes. Atmosphere, gastronomy and last but not least -at the first place- the food of chef Tiziana Francoforte is divine. Never been this enthusiastic, complex through simplicity. Grazie mille per questa esperienza!

We had a truly wonderful dinner. The atmosphere was very refined. The service was excellent and professional. Chef Tiziana delighted us with exquisite meat and seafood dishes, playing with flavors. The wine list has an excellent selection of Sicilian wines. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had the 6-course tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was phenomenal, and their sommelier, Giuseppe, was very knowledgeable. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Very refined atmosphere, very good and attentive service, exquisite food, really good and well set out, the only flaw are the portions which unfortunately leave a bitter taste in the mouth at the end of the dinner, otherwise really good!
