If I had to recommend a great place to grab a bite to eat in Palermo to someone who's new to the city, this would be it. Try the different options! You won't be disappointed. A must-visit in Palermo!

We came to Ke Palle for dinner. We ordered three different arancine – Ragù, Butter, and Cacio e pepe. The rice balls were amazing! The place is small but cozy. They offer a wide selection of balls. You can also try the sweet version – with Nutella or pistachio :)

21/03/2026: I visited L'Ottava Nota restaurant in Palermo with fairly high expectations. The setting is elegant and the atmosphere pleasant, perfect for a quiet evening. The dishes are beautifully presented, and the quality of the ingredients is evident, although some flavors didn't particularly impress me. Specifically, the beans in the fish and blue crab main course were decidedly tough (unthinkable for a Michelin-starred restaurant). Service was friendly but a bit slow at times. Overall, a good experience, but not quite up to expectations. With a little more attention, it could be truly excellent.
