⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Trattoria Familiare da Michele & Jolanda. We didn’t speak a word of Italian, but the staff were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor, and the whole place had such a warm family atmosphere. They even surprised us with a free entrée, which was such a lovely gesture and made the experience even more special. A truly memorable meal and a place we would happily recommend to anyone looking for genuine Italian hospitality and great food.

Amazing hosts and wonderful pasta by Jolanda - fresh ingredients and delicious cheese. Michele packed everything for us since we couldn’t eat it all, the portions were huge. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We found this road hole in the wall restaurant completely by chance and we were so lucky we did, The host was admirable, The cookie was amazing, made with love, and very quaint few tables on the street in the shade. Top top top! Highly recommend

For €25, we had an appetizer, a main course, a drink, and a dessert. We also got a snack. The place is small, but the atmosphere created by the owners makes it worth a visit.

10/06/2026: We've been coming here for four years in a row. A must-visit in Palermo. Angela and Francesco (the waiters) treated us like little princes. The croquettes are a must, and every pizza is made with the crust.
08/06/2026: So, let's start with the positives: 1) Excellent service, very friendly waiters. 2) The pizza was really good, congratulations. Cons: 1) High prices for the entire menu; definitely not affordable for young people or those with limited funds. I didn't want to ruin the average because you don't deserve it, but your prices aren't affordable for everyone. I'm sure that, for three pizzas and three desserts, we could have reached 90 euros. In fact, we only had three pizzas.

07/04/2026: I've never been there, but the first time I return to Palermo I'm going to eat there because it was really nice on TV! W Palermo and Saint Rosalia 😚
26/03/2026: After many years, I finally plucked up the courage to go into Focacceria Basile, and it was a great experience. Everything was well prepared, using fresh, quality ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive. A true must-try. It gets really crowded at peak times. Recommended.
