Honestly, I don't know why they give 5 stars. We've been in Palermo for 3 days and so far this was our worst dinner. The food is mediocre, the portions are small, the prices seem low, but for some reason it turned out to be the same as in other places, while the atmosphere and quality of the food are worse. And there is a stream of people here, they are interested in you leaving as soon as possible, because they immediately seat the next ones. Sitting and enjoying dinner is unrealistic.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Located in a non-touristy area, it's perfect if you want to try traditional cuisine. Highly recommended!

I can't give it 5 stars because the waiter told us twice that the cake didn't contain hazelnuts, but after searching online we found that it was one of the main ingredients. And I'm allergic, so I was right not to trust her... The owner/waitress who took our orders was very friendly and helpful. The food was all tasty and delicious, beautifully seasoned and served in generous portions. The location is a bit out of the way from the city center, not very convenient to walk to. Prices are reasonable for what's on offer.

A restaurant recommended to me by locals and frequented by locals. A pleasant surprise, a trattoria with quality cuisine. A well-stocked menu. Good value for money. A unique and welcoming place. The food is excellent.

Very climactic place, away from main tourist spots, the service was nice, and the food was great. Had a spaghetti nero which was very good. The prices were very fair. Definetly would recommend.

10/05/2026: It was truly a sublime experience: there were two of us, we started with two Spritzes as an aperitif and then continued with two fried pasta frittatas with truffles and an octopus salad: frittatas with balanced flavors, which is unusual with the presence of truffles, and the octopus salad was truly delicious, fresh, and impeccably dressed. We continued with two pasta dishes: a classic one with sardines with the addition of saffron cream (a much-appreciated novelty) and a paccheri dish with clams, mussels, and cherry tomatoes on a squid ink base (I mopped up the sauce, right? 😂 🤣 😂), which I give a 9. Finally, the service is also positive: present, but not pushy, as is the case in many places in the historic center, in the person of the maître d' Filippo and the assistant Ivana (she prepares and mixes excellent Spritzes... 😜).
