13/06/2026: Terrible experience. We had to complain twice about the first McFlurry, and three times about the second one. When it arrived, it looked like it was already half-eaten. We reported this to the staff, and after we started eating it, we found a hair inside! As pictured.

It's an excellent seafood restaurant on the main street of Santa Maria al Bagno. I found the fish to be very fresh and well-prepared. The service was very attentive. You can eat à la carte or choose from the tasting menus. Recommended for seafood lovers. Prices are reasonable.
04/04/2026: A sophisticated restaurant located in an elegant historic residence overlooking the sea. The decor and service are meticulously crafted. Excellent food quality and exquisite presentation. This isn't our first time here, and each time is a pleasant experience. The friendliness and cleanliness are a constant. It's become a go-to for me. Parking is paid only during the summer months, and you can park on the street. We didn't have to wait because we had reserved a table.

11/04/2026: A seafood restaurant that focuses on freshness: octopus crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, flavorful mussels in a rich and fragrant broth, and perfect clams in a marinara sauce with a well-deglazed white wine. A Mediterranean atmosphere, friendly service, and dishes that truly smell of the sea.
11/04/2026: I had lunch at this seafood restaurant and was truly satisfied with the experience. The appetizers were incredibly fresh and well-prepared, with authentic flavors that showcase the quality of the fish. The seafood first courses, in particular, were excellent: tasty, well-balanced, and prepared with great care.
Another strong point is definitely the staff, very welcoming and helpful, capable of immediately putting guests at ease and making the lunch even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent seafood in a friendly atmosphere.

03/06/2026: A cornerstone of the Cavallino and surrounding gastronomy scene. I didn't know it, but an uncle who's a regular customer took us there. The place is very beautiful inside, a little crowded with furnishings, but very much in keeping with the food offerings. Lots of tradition, but not the kind sold to tourists as tradition, the true Salento tradition. I obviously had the ncannulati with strong ricotta cheese, a truly powerful aroma, but pleasant on the palate. Don't be put off, I recommend trying it. Everything else was top-notch, from the appetizers to the service. If you're near Lecce, this is a must-try.

The prices are also very fair and absolutely justified by the quality offered. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

05/04/2026: Excellent seafood. We tried several dishes, from raw appetizers and carpaccio (very fresh and beautifully presented) to a light and crispy fried fish. Special mention goes to the succulent and flavorful grilled prawns, and the tender, high-quality sliced beef.
Friendly service and carefully prepared dishes. An excellent choice for those seeking substance and freshness. Highly recommended!

Otherwise, the risotto was decent but sorely lacking in capocollo; however, the burrata was very good.

20/05/2026: Wow! I have had some incredible meals in Italy but this was something special! I called ahead to make a reservation for a large party of 12 and they were so accommodating. The food was unbelievable! The Ciceri e Tria was the most amazing dish, along with the meatballs, veal and cod. I could not recommend this place more! Grazie!!
19/05/2026: Nice food. Deserta overpriced. We were waiting 15min for a check, went to queue and been told that you were after someone else, while we were waiting already very long. Good waiters.
