31/05/2026: By far the best dinner in Puglia. After a week in Puglia, visiting restaurants, osterias, masserie, and trattorias, I was convinced that Puglia is the southern region with the worst food. However, this restaurant is a real gem. I ate probably the best raw shrimp and scampi of my life. The first course with sea urchins was excellent (half portion in the photo). The prices were fair, the waiters were friendly and welcoming, always ready to explain the dishes and joke with the customers. A restaurant I will keep in my heart and will definitely return to when I visit Puglia.

27/05/2026: Lovely restaurant in the center of Felline village, on a pedestrian square. We had fish, prepared with finesse. A complimentary digestif was offered. A very pleasant evening. I highly recommend it.

07/03/2026: A trattoria in the historic center, with decor that harks back to the times the restaurant's name suggests. They say a good start to the day begins, and that was true from the moment we were greeted by the waiter. The dishes served only to confirm the restaurant's reputation. The cuisine satisfied every request, and we were able to sample the quality of the dishes and the chef's professionalism, both for the first and second courses. Special thanks to the owner for both his helpfulness and his hospitality.

11/03/2026: I started going to Al Baffo a few months ago. The staff have always been incredibly kind and helpful. They have a wide selection of cocktails, including homemade ones. On Friday nights, they have live music, which makes the atmosphere and evening even more enjoyable and lively.

I would have preferred a little more generous servings, but since it's Easter Sunday and we're serving a set menu, it's understandable. In any case, the staff was willing to offer second helpings. As for the dining room staff...10 out of 10! Young but with a very elegant approach and attentive to customer needs, with enviable patience despite the venue being practically sold out! Kudos to the owners and the entire team! We'll definitely be back to eat à la carte, perhaps on the front terrace... fantastic view and a fabulous atmosphere! Congratulations and thanks again!

01/06/2026: We've been frequenting this restaurant for two years now, also around this time. It's located just a stone's throw from Otranto. It has ample parking at the entrance, plenty of room for tables, and a distinctive, well-appointed interior. The staff is lively and attentive, as well as very kind, both in recommending dishes and choosing wines from their well-stocked cellar. During our two visits, we tried to explore the entire menu. We'd recommend their generous first courses, topped with homemade pasta. The quality/price ratio is excellent. It's definitely not a place for tourists, but a true working farm, attentive to their customers' needs. Sooner or later, we'll also try the wood-fired pizzas, but the quality of the first courses always wins us over. Highly recommended.

31/05/2026: Intrigued by the reviews, my wife and I decided to dine here. I must say, my wife and I complimented both the food and the service...that is, up until the first course...then came the second course: raw, unmarinated lamb, with a stench that made it hard to eat...I ate half of it, partly out of hunger and partly to try and give it a chance, but then I stopped, I was practically nauseated. I politely told the waiter that there might have been a problem in the kitchen, asking him to report the incident and to have both the strong smell of the animal and the degree of "doneness" of the dish checked. The waiter took the dish away, and from that moment on I never saw him again...then I ordered my favorite dessert, tiramisu, and was delivered an inedible concoction, not even the remotest relative of a tiramisu. I sent it back, reporting yet another thing that was wrong...the result...? The tiramisu wasn't added to my bill, but the lamb was... I politely complained to the waiter, who washed his hands of it and sent me back to the owner, who didn't even consider me. Moral of the story: I paid the bill and even left a tiny tip, but they'll definitely never see us again. Failed! Zero customer service.

09/05/2026: A must-see when I'm in Lecce! Excellent aperitivo and excellent cocktails. Just off the main tourist route, but definitely worth the visit. Originally a bar, it has a small outdoor terrace and two-thirds of tables inside and outside on the sidewalk. Quick staff and excellent value.

18/09/2025: We came because the reviews were positive. But I don't understand why. The salad is almost entirely green salad and is served in a cardboard box... and for the octopus sandwich the bread was cold and not even toasted... it was bland. Poor value for money in my opinion.
