05/11/2025: We tried the tasting menu. The food was excellent, with carefully selected ingredients and Slow Food certification. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service impeccable. The waiter was very kind and knowledgeable.
The panna cotta was amazing! I've never tasted it so good and creamy. Kudos to the entire staff!

A fixed-price menu featuring your specialties (boiled meat, raw meat, and Russian salad) would be appreciated.

20/10/2025: Carrù is the home of the fatted ox... so meat reigns supreme... but so do classic Piedmontese specialties, from starters to desserts... a must-see... book early, as it often sells out.

11/10/2025: We stopped by for a craft beer after a long, beautiful hike in the upper Maira Valley. 🥰 The girl who served us was super kind and helpful, and let us try some unusual beers. The beers were very good, as was the cheese platter we chose to accompany our drinks. We even bought a few bottles to try at home. Congratulations!

03/10/2025: Aside from the mix-up with the famous gift boxes, which were handled a bit strangely, not through the restaurant owners' fault but rather through the customer's fault, I found the service to be inadequate. Even when you finish a course, leaving the cutlery on the plate even though you have more, they are put back on the tablecloth. The wine is not very high quality, the wine list is missing, and the oil used for condiments leaves an aftertaste.

02/11/2025: Il Torchio is a fantastic restaurant in a beautiful building with a chapel. The service is excellent, and the food is exquisite! Parking in the back is also a plus. In short, highly recommended in Dogliani-Alto.
