Usually i am reluctant to go to Michelin star restaurants as they are pretentious, oversell and leave you hungry . Not this spot…it hits all the stars, service, food, atmosphere …if you are in the area go here..they work with you for your pure enjoyment,,even met the the chef upon our departure,Pasquale is the best

A truly top-class restaurant, beautifully situated in the vineyards of Piedmont. Besides the excellent food and absolutely perfect service, the view of the vineyards is simply priceless.

Fantastic experience!
Everything was truly meticulous and well-made.
Super attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful location in the Langhe hills, surrounded by vineyards. The food, needless to say, was superb!!!
We'll definitely be back!

🇮🇹 Borgo Sant'Anna
🌟 1 MICHELIN Star
🍴 Country cooking, Creative cuisine
🎗️ Located on the Monforte d’Alba mountain in the heart of the Langhe region, about an hour's drive from Turin, Borgo Sant'Anna is one of the most outstanding restaurants in Italy, offering breathtaking views of the vineyards. First opened in 2019, it earned its 🌟 1 MICHELIN Star in 2020 and has held it ever since. The logo consists of seven colored circles representing the seven core elements of the restaurant. The Veranda features simple yet striking glass walls, providing stunning panoramic views of the vineyards during lunchtime. For dinner, the restaurant offers a more luxurious ambiance with dark wood decor. On the other side is the Anima room, featuring tables for up to 8 people, requiring advance reservations and located adjacent to the kitchen, ideal for those seeking a high-level culinary experience.
🎗️ The restaurant showcases local ingredients from the Piedmont region, such as Alba White Truffle, Fassona beef, and local black pigs from Cavour, presenting them in a fine dining style while impressively preserving the identity and characteristics of the local cuisine.

It's a shame to give this rating, especially because we recognize the commitment and dedication of every member of the staff, including the chef (whom we wish a bright future). And we can't help but appreciate the location, the attention to detail, and the cleanliness. But when it comes to the food, our opinion changes. The dishes are overly salty, and above all, an attention to form that doesn't reflect the substance at all. Even the white truffle was lost in dishes that were supposed to showcase it. Based on our experience at other Michelin-starred restaurants, this one doesn't quite meet the same standards, except for the price.

The food was excellent; nothing to complain about, but there was one incident, in my opinion, that was a bit crappy on the part of the staff.
My two friends and I chose a tasting menu. The tasting menu page didn't mention adding cheese.
Toward the end of the menu, a smiling waiter appeared and asked if we wanted to "try some cheese." I, thinking it was a courtesy, replied that I was full. I asked, "Can I try them, but just a little?" and was told that it was possible. My friend and I were brought two plates with four slices of cheese on top, accompanied by giardiniera and a slice of toasted bread (nothing special). The result? An extra €24 each on the bill (€48) for four slices of cheese.
The first time I've been treated like this in a Michelin-starred restaurant. A real lapse in style.

We stayed at Borgo Sant'Anna and it was one of the most beautiful gastronomic experiences we've ever had—a perfect balance of signature cuisine, atmosphere, and attention to detail.
As soon as we arrived, the hilly setting of the Langhe, the renovated hamlet, and the view of the vineyards immediately captivated us: an elegant and intimate place, capable of conveying peace and beauty. The service was attentive and discreet, yet warm and professional: you felt welcomed as if you were in a special home.
The cuisine, under the guidance of chef Pasquale Làera, is a masterpiece—dishes that combine Langhe tradition with a creative and contemporary twist, carefully selected ingredients, and surprising pairings. Each course was an explosion of flavors, textures, and poetry: the passion and love for the land and the sea were clearly evident.
The wine list is extensive and refined: perfect for accompanying each dish with the right depth and showcasing the terroir.
In short: Borgo Sant’Anna is not “just” a restaurant, it’s an experience—highly recommended for those seeking excellent food, a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, and that feeling of being pampered in the best possible way.
