19/07/2025: Great experience. We had alcohol 🍸 and non alcohol options as an "aperitivo" with plenty of food to taste. The staff were very helpful and kind. The presentation of the cocktais 🍸 was incredible. We went on two different occasions. It's definitely a place to try. ☆☆☆☆☆☆

29/06/2025: Terrible. The tables are 20 centimeters apart, there is not a shred of privacy. The place is very small and you immediately get the idea of ​​chaos. The service: the worst I have ever seen. Rude and lazy waiters, the owner is rude. Sky-high prices considering that the products on the table are very simple. I strongly advise against it to everyone, unless you want to spend an hour of your life in chaos, treated badly and having money stolen from you.

24/07/2025: Truly beautiful restaurant, both inside and out. Friendly staff and very good food. Try the gnocchi, they're delicious! I think some of the appetizers are a little pricey, but they're still excellent!

20/07/2025: This was one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to in Europe, we walked in and sat as a group or 6 they later mentioned they didn’t have enteers, the staff was extremely rude and tried to rush us and even overcharged us an extra dish which we didn’t notice until later. Will never go back here!

21/08/2025: A very good lunch, from the entrees to the dessert. Perhaps the only flaw is the long wait between courses, but for such high-end cuisine, perhaps that's fair enough. The desserts (and it's an understatement to call them that...) are works of art, a sublime feast for the taste buds. I highly recommend this place, perhaps with your "beloved."

The service is different depending on the menu you take, we were not entitled to the wine list and the explanations on the dishes are very approximate. This gave us some good surprises all the same. It lacks a bit of a smile... as for the wine, it is excellent. And the bill is reasonable... and the service was expeditious (it's not Mc Do but almost 🤣)...

06/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel for six nights. There are several points to mention in this review. First, the beds are appalling. In a double room, we found a metal bedstead with a wooden plank over it. The slightest movement made an insane noise, making it difficult to sleep at night. Furthermore, having installed two single mattresses, they shifted during the night, often resulting in a person being sandwiched between them. The hotel website states that "all" rooms have a balcony/terrace, but this is not the case. The hotel does not have an elevator, so elderly people or those with mobility issues had great difficulty climbing the stairs to their rooms. There's little choice for breakfast, as it's not a buffet. Otherwise, you'd find an empty croissant per person (I think they made it themselves), a small piece of cake or tart they made (I think), and some toast with packaged jams of your choice. Then you can choose a drink from the bar (coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, etc.). There's no choice for a savory or healthier breakfast. The portions at lunch and dinner are very generous, with many good dishes, but for those staying at the hotel for several days, things get boring because the dishes are always the same (green tagliolini with mushrooms, braised meat that was offered every day for both lunch and dinner, cooked vegetables always peas with carrots, green beans, and sometimes potatoes, and so on, but always the same dishes). If you asked for a simple salad because you no longer wanted the same dishes, it wasn't available. Basically, there was no option to have any fresh vegetables (side dishes) or to order fruit (there wasn't even watermelon, no fruit at all). Being a property that claims to be pet-friendly, I would have expected at least a small dog area (fenced off) where you could maybe stay when you're not out and about with your dog (there is enough space in front of the hotel to offer such an area). Some finishing touches are definitely missing (hair dryer, hangers in the bathroom, a shower gel holder inside the shower stall). Some rooms don't even have a closet and have a simple A metal structure covered with a DIY-style plastic sheet. They don't even have a small table or desk to place small appliances. The hotel offers a beautiful view, and there are lovely trails nearby for walking through the woods. Given our experience with the rooms, I honestly don't know if we'd return, as we didn't sleep well due to the uncomfortable bed. It's a shame, because they could offer an excellent choice given their convenient location.

The reason why we keep returning is because we never get disappointed - the prices are fair, the service is good and the quality of the food is good. The view from the restaurant is extraordinary - you can see a lot of small villages from restaurant e.g Monforte.

13/08/2025: A lovely place with excellent service. We were surprised by how quickly the food arrived. Everything was simply delicious. We ordered a pizza with a special burrata with burrata, calamari and salad. It was really delicious. Fast and courteous service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

12/08/2025: It's the place we go to every time we want to spend a nice time enjoying a delicious Italian pizza! The house tiramisu is very good. As for the service, it's excellent! The owners are very friendly people who are attentive to their needs, along with their staff, making the service even more welcoming. If you come to Alba, this place is a must-see.
