20/08/2025: A very nice hotel surrounded by greenery, but I think it's a shame that some things aren't fully utilized given the potential and marketing on the website. For example, breakfast is sparse Monday to Wednesday because the restaurant doesn't open until Thursday. Therefore, there are only limited dining options, and you have to eat out in the evenings during the week until Thursday. The pool facilities and spa are very nice, and the rooms have more potential. We booked a suite, which was obviously formerly two rooms, and the bathroom off the bedroom was completely wheelchair accessible, which meant that the toilet took some getting used to (it was very high), and the shower had no curtain, which meant the entire bathroom got wet. Otherwise, the staff was super friendly and the complex was very relaxing!

03/09/2025: We had lunch at Trattoria Del Bollito today and it was amazing. It has been one of best meals that we have had during our trip to Italy. We both had the Fettuccine with sausage and porcini mushrooms…yum! We were impressed that the entire skillet of pasta was brought to the table. It was great because the pasta stayed hot. Wine was delicious too! Service was great, very helpful, friendly and spoke English. Love the atmosphere and layout of the dining room with wine bottles displayed throughout. Highly recommend!!

31/08/2025: A very typical place in the center of Alba. Abundant, homemade dishes. The tajarin are a must-try.

29/08/2025: We were guest of a 2 day wedding at Case Scaparone. We had a dinner night on one day on the mountain with great fresh made food. The wedding was at the next day and the location, service, drinks and food were incredible!

25/08/2025: We stayed in a charming place that conveyed a sense of serenity and relaxation. The entire environment is welcoming and enveloped in a traditional atmosphere, as are the guest rooms. The swimming pool is well sheltered but overlooks the surrounding hills: fantastic! The only criticism is that the mattress is a little too firm.

11/08/2025: Very nice place, fast and friendly staff. Reasonable prices, excellent pizzas and judging by the view, the other dishes are also worth it.

10/08/2025: A good dinner with a good vibe. Vegetable pizza for me, drooling knees for her, followed by fries, a medium draft beer, and two small lagers. Price €37.50. Pizza cooked well and tasty.

25/08/2025: This restaurant is operated by the Contorato Winery. It serves lunch during the tour tasting. Beef tartare from the Piedmont region and wines from Alta Langa were served, but the pairing was disappointing. The Epikaiser was actually better than the beef tartare. The ravioli wasn't anything special, but it was a nice, appetizing experience. The third course, the steak, paired with La Spinetta's Langhe Nebbiolo, was excellent. Because the wine was young, it had a fruity flavor, making it a perfect pairing with the less-succulent steak. The panna cotta served for dessert was delicious. I didn't have high expectations since it was a restaurant during the tour, but it exceeded my expectations.

23/07/2025: Refined and chic atmosphere! Their Aperol Spritz is the best I've ever had...and it knocks you out! Highly recommended for an aperitivo. We haven't had the pleasure of trying their food.

18/07/2025: Cena di estate a Piozzo in famiglia ottima pizza, frittura di pesce e soprattutto un plauso per i dolci. Unico inconveniente non sapevano che per mangiare le paella bisognasse prenotare

13/07/2025: Il locale è molto carino C’ero già stata con amici e mi ero trovata bene Ieri sono andata con mia sorella e a partire dall antipasto fino al dolce passando per la frittura di pesce era tutto ottimo Servizio molto gentili e disponibili i tempi sono decisamente buoni ne troppo veloci ne troppo lenti ti danno il giusto tempo per assaporare il tutto Consiglio veramente di passare a farci una cena !!

02/09/2025: A surprise behind a simple facade: Officina del Mare in Bra On the recommendation of our landlady, we visited this restaurant, which looks rather unassuming from the outside. We probably would have walked right past it. However, the interior is pleasantly modern and inviting. The Neapolitan pizzas were excellent: light dough, fresh ingredients, and the Diavola with extra buffalo mozzarella was a particular highlight. Impressive value for money. I've rarely experienced such good quality at such fair prices. A definite recommendation.

02/09/2025: Yesterday a quick getaway for work, but overall very good, lots of amenities and even a 20% discount on a beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, worth considering.

14/09/2025: The perfect place for a delicious pizza and a glass of barolo! The staff are super friendly and made us feel very welcome.

28/08/2025: Like everything in Barolo, it's a very pleasant place to spend hours chatting and tasting wines, with pizza, salami... It's located in the central square.

11/08/2025: A very well-organized refuge/staging post. Two dormitories with new beds with wooden bases, excellent mattresses, and very clean bathrooms and showers. The dining area is very beautiful, with excellent food. The owner is a kind person who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable...a truly sweet woman...I absolutely recommend this refuge wholeheartedly.
