05/04/2026: Easter lunch with my wife. The restaurant is downtown, so it's a great spot for a post-lunch or dinner stroll. The outdoor seating area where we ate is comfortable, but not the best—a bit chaotic. Very welcoming with excellent service. The waiter who looked after us and served us was knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered: - veal with tuna sauce and Fassona beef tartare - agnolotti del plin and tajiarin (I don't know if I spelled it correctly) with sausage ragù - sliced ​​Fassona beef - gianduiotto - two glasses of Barbera - a bottle of water The quality of the food is excellent; I highly recommend the veal with tuna sauce, the agnolotti del plin, and the gianduiotto. A small flaw—a hair on the plate (it can happen to anyone)—and they immediately changed our dish, offering us another dessert at the end: a mix of fried foods, a typical Easter dessert in that area. The wine list is excellent, and the Barbera we drank was delicious. It's a shame the Fassona beef was overcooked, in my opinion; it also didn't taste as piping hot as if it had just been cooked. Total cost: €120 (dessert included). What can I say? I recommend it for the dishes listed above and the service.

11/05/2026: We're regulars, and that says it all. The atmosphere is rustic and very pleasant. It feels like home. You can choose from options like the Light Menu, which includes an appetizer, a first course, and dessert, or the Apericena Menu or the Mdnu' Compagnia. These last two are still something I've yet to discover. The pasta dishes are plentiful and tasty, with excellent-quality homemade pasta. The main courses are always flavorful and beautifully plated. The surprise comes with the dessert, which always amazes us with its extreme goodness, so much so that we often order a trio to try them between the menu and the daily selection. The prices are excellent, given the quality and simplicity of the service and the dishes offered, especially considering the constant price increases. Lastly, our daughter, who is about 3 years old, really enjoys the children's menu, which starts with an appetizer, moves on to a main course, and ends with some ice cream, often vanilla-flavored. I think we'll never stop coming back.

The food is good and inexpensive, but if you're looking for a trendy place with creative cuisine or you fancy yourself a gourmet, please abstain. At Maresa, you're in the Alta Langa, so you eat what's on offer and drink the house wine, but that's precisely the beauty of it... and in summer, lunch under the portico is a delight. An excellent stop for motorcyclists and lovers of winding roads and beautiful scenery.

The welcome was one of our strong points: the owner is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to help with a smile. A special thanks also to his mother, who is truly sweet and friendly—people who make you feel welcome right away. The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, everything was tidy and pleasant. In the morning, a generous and varied breakfast awaited us, with plenty of choice and delicious products: perfect for starting the day. The location is strategic for the ski slopes, very convenient for those who want to enjoy the mountains without stress. The village is also very welcoming and quiet, ideal for a true getaway. A simple place but with a big heart. We would love to return. ❤️
