The Royal has been popular in Alba for years now. I used to go there as a student during my surveying classes; the owners are always very friendly and kind. Now it's a regular stop for my morning breakfast before work and my post-lunch coffee.

A remarkable experience, a port aperitif and an amazing platter, especially the focaccia with veal in tuna sauce, all surrounded by plants and a green wall! It never disappoints!!

Locanda Batista Diano d'Alba

12/04/2026: I have to thank them for their hospitality because they accepted us with six dogs, even if with a little compensable hesitation. We took the tasting menu and everything was delicious and plentiful at a more than fair price (a rare thing nowadays). A place to really recommend.
07/04/2026: We came with the Cureggio Pro Loco. We had a great time! We'll definitely be back.
