11/05/2026: A very nice restaurant, somewhat atypically modern for Alba. The food was excellent, and the service and ambiance were very good. The hosts are very friendly and their cheerful manner contributed greatly to the success of the evening.
10/05/2026: We've had lunch at La Libera three times and have always received a very warm welcome. The staff are lovely and attentive.
The food is absolutely delicious. Everything is homemade and fresh; it's refined, flavorful, etc. I will definitely return.

02/05/2026: Mirella's welcome is warm and discreet, immediately putting you at ease.
The plin are spectacular; our granddaughter devoured them! It's traditional cuisine with a few unique dishes, such as "La Finanza" (The Will Fund), a good selection of wines with a commitment to promoting local wines.
We promise to return for the fritto misto (fried meatballs).

Both times, we chose the €14.00 lunch menu, which included a first course, a second course, a side dish, half a liter of water, and a coffee. The portions were generous and tasty. The staff was very friendly, and the wait was short. Recommended!

04/05/2026: We ate at the restaurant the evening of April 2. I have to say that this is the perfect place to stay. History, elegance. great museum time pieces but sadly the food was lacking. We were so disappointed. The meat was dry although the taste was there. The wine we chose was two times the price of the wine we had chosen the night before (same wine and year). We were so disappointed that we chose not to have a dessert. The lack of sauce, visual enhancement and staging of the food was disappointing. The hotel itself is breathtakingly inspiring and frankly I would stay here and probably will in the future but I will not eat in the restaurant.
12/04/2026: What a joy to have discovered this magnificent castle! The beauty of the site and its surroundings, the quality of the rooms and restaurant, as well as the spa and wellness center, and the kindness and professionalism of the staff, always there to meet your needs and make your stay as comfortable as being at home.
And the icing on the cake: a private guided tour by the Director to discover the history of this castle, a listed cultural heritage site in Italy.

17/04/2026: Very good and tasty food. The place is well-kept and the staff are friendly. Service is a little slow at times, but not excessive. I recommend trying the shrimp and bacon carbonara, which was amazing 🥰. I'll be back to try their pizzas.

31/12/2025: This is my second visit here, just passing through, so I decided to review it this time. What can I say? Everything is excellent. But especially the bonet, which nowadays is hard to find someone who actually makes it from scratch without the help of various instant powders. Here, it's truly delicious and homemade! Excellent value for money. Well done, well done, well done.
25/12/2025: The place is charming, clean, and the service is quick and accurate. We ate fresh fish, beautifully cooked and presented. It far surpasses many restaurants on the Riviera in terms of value for money.
It's worth a try, along with a quick visit to the town of Ceva with its historic, low porticoes, typical of these areas. 🥰

31/05/2026: Very beautiful place. Breathtaking views. The lodge owners are very kind and the food is good. The only flaw is the very slow service. We waited in the sun for over 45 minutes to order. Once we ordered, they were very quick to bring the food to the table. Perhaps some help with order taking and payment could be helpful.

05/04/2026: I happened upon it by chance on a Saturday evening, coming down from the Maira Valley. The staff was courteous, helpful, and very attentive. They also offered an aperitif while you waited for your order. We had both pizza and the à la carte menu. Everything was delicious. The desserts were numerous, excellent, and almost all homemade, and were served with attention to detail and aesthetics. Prices were reasonable, offering good value for money.

Extremely clean, with clean and fragrant bathrooms. Highly recommended for workers, students, and visitors for a quick lunch. The best kebab in the Kingdom of Sardinia.

16/05/2026: We went to the "Barbaresco at the Table" evening. The wine was the star, but the food complemented everything beautifully. The staff was incredibly friendly, including the chef, who came out to greet everyone at the table.
A super enjoyable evening, I hope to return for the à la carte menu.
