17/04/2026: We started with the idea of ​​a quick aperitif, and then we loved it so much that we had lunch and dessert. Fast and excellent service. Excellent wine and food. A must-see if you're in the area.

06/04/2026: We visited on Easter Monday, and despite the restaurant being packed, the service was attentive, courteous, and fast. We were satisfied with the Piedmontese cuisine, and more: a platter of excellent cured meats, a delicious veal with tuna sauce, and a light and satisfying Langhe salad with lamb's lettuce, walnuts, pears, and cheese. Everything was washed down with a nice glass of Arneis.

25/12/2025: Christmas Lunch 2025. It's been about three years since I've been back to this restaurant, and this year, together with friends, we decided to have Christmas lunch in this beautiful and romantic place. We were all delighted with the excellent quality and quantity of the dishes offered: from the venison pâté, the first of four appetizers, to the excellent agnolotti, and the truly unique and perfect Piedmontese "fritto misto" (mixed fried fish). You can wander around, but you won't find it like they serve it here anywhere else... even the desserts were a triumph. The staff was extremely kind, and we were served perfectly by the very kind Maria. Well done everyone, though, and a special thanks to Signora Fiorentina for her attentive service. Thank you.

11/03/2026: I went for lunch at this lovely trattoria, which I found online, and the reviews left by others convinced me. The place is attractively decorated, and its simplicity makes for a pleasant lunch. The food is served without an à la carte menu (I went on a Saturday), and the courses follow one another, starting with excellent appetizers and ending with dessert, all accompanied by house wine and, of course, water. The quality of the food is excellent, fully reflecting Piedmontese tradition.

25/03/2026: The Royal has been popular in Alba for years now. I used to go there as a student during my surveying classes; the owners are always very friendly and kind. Now it's a regular stop for my morning breakfast before work and my post-lunch coffee.

13/04/2026: I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. We arrived and they couldn't find our reservation. They put us at a table they detached from a table for six that could seat four. We sat down at 12:30 and were brought two appetizers, a steak tartare and a salami. After sitting for an hour, they showed us the steak they were going to cook for us. At 2:30, they brought us the cold meat, and then they brought us a plate of picanha for two, which was finally hot. We ate under an outdoor canopy; it was sunny but cold next to the restaurant. They made us pay the bill before we finished eating. A negative experience not to be repeated.

13/04/2026: A truly beautiful and unique refuge with truly unique service and entertainment. Alessia and the Cowboy Steak are inimitable, with the stunning fire show and the whole atmosphere that is worth reliving. If you've never been there, it's an experience you absolutely must have!

18/11/2025: A true village restaurant, sadly becoming increasingly rare these days. A 1970s-style atmosphere, home cooking, and prompt but simple service. The food is good and inexpensive, but if you're looking for a trendy place with creative cuisine or you fancy yourself a gourmet, please abstain. At Maresa, you're in the Alta Langa, so you eat what's on offer and drink the house wine, but that's precisely the beauty of it... and in summer, lunch under the portico is a delight. An excellent stop for motorcyclists and lovers of winding roads and beautiful scenery.

31/12/2025: This is my second visit here, just passing through, so I decided to review it this time. What can I say? Everything is excellent. But especially the bonet, which nowadays is hard to find someone who actually makes it from scratch without the help of various instant powders. Here, it's truly delicious and homemade! Excellent value for money. Well done, well done, well done.

25/12/2025: The place is charming, clean, and the service is quick and accurate. We ate fresh fish, beautifully cooked and presented. It far surpasses many restaurants on the Riviera in terms of value for money. It's worth a try, along with a quick visit to the town of Ceva with its historic, low porticoes, typical of these areas. 🥰

08/04/2026: We stayed for two nights, including an Easter lunch, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The property is truly beautiful and well-maintained, perfectly reflecting the surrounding area, and the location is perfect, with a spectacular view. The real highlight is Mr. Teo, the property manager, who with his kindness and professionalism made us feel right at home. I highly recommend it if you're planning to visit the Langhe.

22/03/2026: I was passing by and looking for a restaurant for lunch, and suddenly Archisa caught my eye and decided to give it a try. A real surprise, the restaurant is rustic in style with exposed brick and wooden beams, yet very elegant. The staff is friendly and helpful. Starred cuisine at still reasonable prices. I found the ingredients to be excellent. Well, a review can't convey the flavors I tried, so I recommend going.
