Beautiful place, fair prices, fantastic food, excellent service (the raw sausage and Fassona tartare are a World Heritage Site), and an incredible wine list. A must-visit every time you pass through La Morra. Make sure to book because it's often packed.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Great food, but service that ruins the entire experience. The food was truly excellent. Beautiful ingredients, well prepared, and full of flavor. Compliments to the kitchen, as they deserve all the praise. Unfortunately, the same absolutely cannot be said about the service. Throughout the entire evening, it was distant, unhelpful, and anything but hospitable. We asked if we could sit at another, completely empty table. That was rejected without any explanation or friendliness. Next, we asked for the wine list, but we had to go to unnecessary trouble for that as well. As a wine lover, it is strange to feel in a restaurant like this that you almost have to beg for a wine list. On top of that, we had to wait about an hour and a half to get a table and then another hour for the food. Communication was poor throughout. No explanation, no apologies, and not a single sign of understanding. That made the wait particularly frustrating. The most disappointing thing is that this restaurant deserves so much better culinarily. The kitchen delivers a great performance, but the service does everything to overshadow that experience. With friendly, welcoming, and helpful service, this restaurant would undoubtedly deserve 10 stars from me. As it stands, despite the fantastic food, only an average experience remains. My advice to future guests: come for the food, but temper your expectations when it comes to service and hospitality.

Just being in La Morra would be enough, but the food is excellent, the wine is amazing, and the staff is helpful! We ate on the terrace...the only small flaw was the sun, but there was no other place to eat, so we accepted anyway! The Fassona steak was excellent, the tagliolini with ragù was delicious, and the dessert was amazing: a mille-feuille with amaretto cream and peaches! Congratulations!

Osteria More e Macine is certainly the most famous in town, especially among tourists; in fact, it was recommended to us by our agriturismo. The experience, however, was very positive. The dishes were well-executed and the ingredients were high-quality; you could really sense the love behind them. Only the risotto was a bit undercooked, probably because it wasn't freshly prepared, but overall it was a good meal. The quality-price ratio is therefore truly excellent. The atmosphere is a bit chaotic due to the crowds inside, but it's still possible to converse well. In our case, we were seated at a table with three other strangers; we didn't mind, but be aware that it could happen otherwise. The service is in line with the restaurant, fast and with the right formality.
