05/05/2026: A very pleasant 3-night stay. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere and delicious food in generous portions. Strategic location: the bus stop to Como is very close, and amenities (ATM, bar, tobacconist) are a 10-minute walk away. The road is a bit steep (note for those with mobility issues), but the amenities area has convenient parking with disabled spaces and electric vehicle charging stations. The outdoor area, where you can enjoy an aperitif, is very relaxing. It has a beautiful view and lovely aromatic plants, although with a few aesthetic touches (like the fence), it could be a real gem. Note on parking: a bit difficult; it gets crowded on weekend evenings due to the restaurant crowds, but we were lucky to find a spot just as some customers were leaving. Overall, a positive experience, and we'll likely return.

07/04/2026: This is the second time we have stayed at this inn and it has always been a positive experience both for the location and for the very kind staff. We also celebrated Easter with a truly good lunch with attention to every detail. Breakfast is also excellent.

10/05/2026: We chose Osteria della Vigna to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was simply impeccable. The restaurant has a long history: it has been open since 1978, when it opened as a home-cooked trattoria in the hamlet of Begna di Porlezza. Over the years, it has remained faithful to tradition, evolving with great care in the selection of ingredients and the culinary offerings. Even today, the cuisine follows seasonality and emphasizes local ingredients, maintaining a traditional, family-style approach. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, intimate, and perfect for a special dinner: soft lighting, refined spaces, and a sense of tranquility that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is extremely kind and professional, attentive without being intrusive. The service was fast, well-organized, and always smiling, something that truly makes the difference on important occasions. From food to dessert, everything was excellent: beautifully presented dishes, balanced flavors, and a quality that was clearly perceived, in keeping with the restaurant's long-standing reputation among residents and visitors. A highly successful anniversary dinner, in a place that combines tradition, quality, and a sincere welcome. 📍 Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back.

10/05/2026: An anniversary to remember, celebrated in the best way: at the table. Osteria La Lanterna is the perfect place when you want to stop time and transform a dinner into a memory. Between the lake and the mountains, at the perfect intersection of tradition and elegance, each dish tells a story of care, passion, and beauty. The surprise begins with "The Princess and the Pea - Pizza and Cuttlefish": ancient-grain fried pizza with squid ink, burrata, squid spaghetti, confit cherry tomatoes, and onion. Unexpected, refined, memorable. Then a tomato and basil spaghetti that celebrates excellence in its purest form: extraordinary ingredients and the pleasure of finishing the dish with fresh basil, just like at home... but better. And finally, the dish of my heart: Danty's Rabbit. Carmagnola gray rabbit, stuffed by Grandma Dantina, on spring greens and mashed potatoes. I loved it!! A dish that lingers, just like certain moments. A talented young chef, attentive and kind staff, a beautiful location, and a welcoming and pampering atmosphere. Details that make all the difference. A perfect anniversary! Recommended, to be repeated... and remembered.

13/05/2026: Once again, we stayed at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo in May 2026 and had an absolutely incredible experience. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and every staff member made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The suites were beautiful, elegant, and spacious with stunning direct views of Lake Como. Every detail felt luxurious while still being warm and comfortable. The breakfast buffet each morning was delicious with a huge variety of fresh pastries, fruit, made-to-order items, and authentic Italian specialties. Easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. One of the highlights of the trip was the private boat tour arranged through the concierge. Everything was seamless, and the experience on Lake Como was unforgettable. The concierge team did an amazing job helping coordinate activities and recommendations during our stay. My only small complaint is that the fitness center could use mirrors, especially in the weight lifting area. Other than that, everything was truly exceptional, and we cannot wait to return.

01/05/2026: Truly excellent. Generous portions (if you find them excessive, they'll give you a take-home bag). We had lunch outside in a quiet little square. Whenever I stroll in the area, I always stop by for a good lunch. Very friendly staff. Reservations recommended.
