A limited number of seats fosters a precious intimacy, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy every nuance in complete relaxation. The attention to carefully selected, unpredictable ingredients is striking. The staff's ability to explain the preparation of the cuts with expert and engaging professionalism is delightful, enriching the experience. The customer relationship is friendly, cultured, and not distant. Upon leaving, you're left with the certainty of having experienced something pleasant and welcoming. We're certain that our first dinner here will be followed by guaranteed returns. I'm also grateful for having granted our son's request to put a candle on his birthday cake as he celebrated his family birthday.

01/08/2026: An evening with friends who already knew La Storica in Asso. Quality food, kind and friendly. The location was unique and very intimate, just like those of times gone by. The only flaw was that they didn't have the couscous that Marilina loved so much and had raved about so much.

19/07/2026: First time for me, I love meat, and I have to say that the meat is excellent quality, perfectly cooked. I'll definitely go back to eat there. It's a bit far for me since I'm in Milan, but it's worth it if you want good, quality food. The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff are excellent, very friendly, and polite. I give it more than 5 stars.

25/08/2026: The Most Disappointing Michelin-Starred Experience I Have Ever Had I don’t usually write and review in google, but I am deeply saddened and frustrated to write this review. Having dined at Michelin-starred restaurants all around the world, I can say with complete confidence that I have never encountered a restaurant where not a single dish was enjoyable—until now. My experience at Kitchen in Lake Como was an absolute disaster from start to finish. 1. Poor Food Quality As someone who actively seeks out fine dining experiences globally, the food here fell drastically short of any professional standard, let alone a Michelin star. Not a single course was memorable or well-executed. For a restaurant with this level of recognition, the lack of flavor, balance, and quality control was completely unacceptable. 2. Extremely Unprofessional and Rude Service The service was exceptionally unprofessional: Careless Handling: Staff poured water so carelessly that it splashed everywhere across the table. Lack of Basic Courtesy: When we arrived, staff members greeted us, but literally turned their backs and walked away mid-sentence while we were still speaking. Dismissive Course Explanations: The server delivering the food rushed through course descriptions at a frantic pace and walked off before even finishing her sentence, leaving us completely bewildered. Inconsistent Sommelier Behavior: When ordering wine, the sommelier initially implied they would share a taste and discuss the profile with us. However, right after the bottle was served, they abruptly stated they don't drink alcohol. It felt disingenuous and bizarre for a fine dining wine service. 3. Pest Control & Hygiene Issues To make matters worse, the restaurant had an obvious pest control problem. Having mosquitoes and insects bothering guests throughout a fine dining dinner is simply unacceptable for a venue of this caliber. Conclusion A Michelin star comes with an expectation of culinary excellence, hospitality, and attention to detail. Kitchen failed on every single front. It felt like a trap for tourists rather than a genuine fine dining establishment. I strongly advise anyone visiting Lake Como to avoid this place—there are far better dining options in the area that actually respect their guests.

11/08/2026: Very good takeaway pizzeria, the dough being high you think it would be difficult to chew but it is very soft, even the next day cold and good, even the panzerotti are no joke before you make them explode on you in the car like what happened to me

03/08/2026: A BEAUTIFUL SURPRISE! We're particularly picky and selective about food. We've NEVER had such delicious polenta and braised meat, cooked with such tender meat. The "uncia" polenta was also delicious. Fresh and delicate desserts. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We'll definitely be back soon! We'll recommend it to friends and family!

13/05/2026: Once again, we stayed at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo in May 2026 and had an absolutely incredible experience. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and every staff member made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The suites were beautiful, elegant, and spacious with stunning direct views of Lake Como. Every detail felt luxurious while still being warm and comfortable. The breakfast buffet each morning was delicious with a huge variety of fresh pastries, fruit, made-to-order items, and authentic Italian specialties. Easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. One of the highlights of the trip was the private boat tour arranged through the concierge. Everything was seamless, and the experience on Lake Como was unforgettable. The concierge team did an amazing job helping coordinate activities and recommendations during our stay. My only small complaint is that the fitness center could use mirrors, especially in the weight lifting area. Other than that, everything was truly exceptional, and we cannot wait to return.

10/08/2026: I planned my wedding at La Madonnina restaurant. The venue speaks for itself...superlative. The organization, thanks to Debora's contribution, was impeccable. Nothing was left to chance, and she guided me through the countless tasks that go into this immense machine. As for the food, I let my guests decide...and everyone agreed it was delicious. It's a very convenient service, but since it's in high demand, you risk not finding it available.) ​And what about the food? Simply fabulous! Special praise goes to the chef and the entire kitchen team: the dishes were not only beautiful to look at, but of exceptional quality, rich in flavor, and capable of captivating the palates of all our guests (no exceptions!). 09/08/2026: We celebrated my wife's birthday. The decor is a bit minor and a bit casual for a restaurant of such a high standard, but the food and service are wonderful! We had the Manifesto lungo tasting menu, in which the chef returns to twelve dishes from the restaurant's ten years of existence, in a renewed and up-to-date execution. The chef is bold, and plays with molecular cuisine on a wide range of flavors, with each dish an adventure for your smile. In total, Billy and 3 and a half hours in the restaurant were a fine and fascinating gastronomic journey. Highly recommended

08/08/2026: As I've done on other occasions, I went with colleagues to the Materia restaurant for a business lunch (€25). A very attractive price for a refined and original offering. The location is elegant but windowless, which I don't particularly like. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff always make me happy to return.
