27/02/2026: Beautiful place, excellent both for a day trip but also if you are in the area for a quick lunch at midday

05/01/2026: Average, greasy food, I personally disliked the use of excessive cream. General confusion during the entire service. In specific, the lady with long hair (I presume the wife…) was rude and obnoxious. I suggest a total review in terms of her attitude, or a change in job… Also, by now reading the other reviews, I see there is no real knowledge of customer service. Shame on you for answering the way you have.

23/02/2026: Osteria Il Governo was recommended by a friend and not a single dish disappointed. If you are visiting Lake Como, this restaurant is a must! The service was of an incredibly high standard and every dish was explained in detail by the waiter, who has kept the restaurant active and in the family after many generations. He later took us around a tour of the restaurant, showcasing its rich history. This place is a fine dining experience that should not be missed!

22/02/2026: The beef was good, the pasta too, but the duck was absolutely terrible. The vegetables that came with the duck tasted like muck. It's a shame, but in the end, the whole meal didn't live up to our expectations. And there's no physical menu; you have to scan a QR code, which for me is a deal-breaker right off the bat...

21/03/2026: Must do place in Bellagio if you are into wine. Servers are fantastic, snacks are fantastic, owner is fantastic, and they have the entire Italian wine scene in stock. Owner will walk you through his personal selections and build you a custom case of wine shipped to your door. Went for a glass, left with a case!

18/03/2026: Had the best experience with Matteo and Samu!! We did two wine tastings and a meat/cheese board which was delicious. Their knowledge of wine was so interesting and they are very friendly. Highly recommend coming here if you like wine and cheese!

01/03/2026: We were welcomed with such kindness and genuine warmth. The meal was excellent, thanks to the chef's numerous pizza awards! One of the best places we visited in Italy. It's well worth the trip, both for the delicious flavors and the attentive service. At the end, the chef took the time to explain and demonstrate how he makes his pizzas. Furthermore, the staff is cheerful and makes an effort to be understood, even trying to speak French. Highly recommended!

09/03/2026: Everything was beautiful and delicious, except for the friendliness of one of the waiters, who even stood at the door at 11 p.m., staring at us, urging us to leave. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

17/02/2026: We had dinner at the restaurant with friends. The atmosphere is rustic and very refined. The menu ranges from meat to fish, with an excellent wine list. I tried some traditional Lombard dishes, and they were excellent. Well done!

10/03/2026: When passion, professionalism, and courtesy come together... they lay the foundation for a successful restaurant. Careful selection of ingredients, respect in their handling, elegant plating, attentive and friendly service. All in a setting I describe as a "bonbonniere" with a fairytale atmosphere. Always a great culinary experience.

25/02/2026: It was the only place open (and decent compared to the others) in Bellagio that February evening for food. It was nice, the price was reasonable, and the wine was very good! The food was okay, nothing special, but it did the job! The cheese was great too. The lasagna was okay, nothing special. We didn't try anything else. The servers were very, very kind and friendly; we loved it! In short, when almost everything else is closed in Bellagio, it's a great place to eat!

15/02/2026: Amazing place, great selection of wines and super friendly staff. The waiters also seem to be very knowledgeable. We left the place full and happy. Only one question remains: who was the tough dude painted on the left wall, next to Bowie? 😅

20/03/2026: We absolutely loved our visit to this cozy restaurant! After our first pizza, we couldn't stop eating. The appetizers, pizzas, and desserts were all delicious! The interior is also very pleasant, and the owners' service was very attentive and friendly. A special thank you goes to them. It's advisable to reserve a table in the evening; by 8:00 PM, the place was almost fully booked.

18/03/2026: Super cute and welcoming restaurant!! Top-notch food, and Antonella, the waitress, was even better! The owner is very helpful and kind, accommodating every request. Highly recommended.

07/03/2026: Terrible service, they couldn't serve me. To be clear, I had dinner on Saturday night with my family (4 adults and 4 children), and everyone was friendly as soon as they arrived, even when they took our order. I'm allergic to garlic, and when I specifically asked, they told me there was no problem and that it would be requested in the kitchen anyway, and if it wasn't possible to prepare my order with this change, they would let me know. At least half an hour passed, and the dishes finally arrived (including the children's dishes, which we'd been told would be sent ahead first). When I asked which dish was without garlic (my sister-in-law had ordered the same one, but without the change), the waiter couldn't tell me which one it was, so he went back to the kitchen to ask, but the dish had been wrong. Without even apologizing, he told me he'd do it again in three minutes. When I asked if it was actually three minutes and not the half hour I'd already waited, he got annoyed and arrogantly replied that he didn't time the girls in the kitchen. In the end, I was left without dinner, since it was now 10:30 PM and we were with children. I'd say the terrible service has now been sufficiently explained.

13/03/2026: As tourists, we were just looking for a quick place to eat in the evening and luckily discovered this little gem. The food was really delicious, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and they were even playing an anime  in the background, which made the experience even more unique. The waitress was incredibly friendly, competent, and genuinely warm,  she made us feel very welcome. Overall, it was a great experience and we’re really glad we found this place. Highly recommended!

22/02/2026: The menu offers a variety of rustic and traditional dishes, carefully presented, with some more or less interesting variations. The atmosphere exudes the warmth of an old rustic inn, yet adds a touch of refinement thanks to the friendly yet knowledgeable service, attentive to the customer's needs. Overall, it's a place you'll want to return to.
