Excellent cuisine and always excellent advice on wines to accompany.
I've been coming to eat at this restaurant for years and I always leave pleasantly surprised and satisfied!!

07/01/2024: Posto trovato per caso sul web. Le recensioni alte non hanno assolutamente disatteso le aspettative.
Il bistrot è intimo e accogliente.
I proprietari di una gentilezza ed empatia eccezionale.
In definitiva, potrei dire che è esattamente quello che cercavo per una pausa rilassante lungo il lago: un’ESPERIENZA di gusto e di incontro ( come ormai non è purtroppo facile trovare )!

02/04/2024: 5 stars for the warmth and hospitality of the restaurant employees and owner. We tried 3 different pastas, and the meat skewer and all were really good. It's worth the money. I tried the Ragu bolognese spaghetti and it was delicious. The sauces was tangy and creamy. The basil pesto sauce was also great. To finish off the lovely lunch, we ordered Tiramisu and it was on point. Would love to go again if I visit Como.

Here you find professionalism. Humanity. Excellent food and drinks and a lively yet relaxing environment. Excellent management👍🏻🌸

07/04/2024: Venue chosen at random. Pleasant feeling already on the phone, confirmed upon arrival, by the owner who opened and recognized us. Lake view. Very nice environment, attention to detail and clean. We chose mushroom risotto, pizzoccheri, parmigiana and whitefish ravioli and then the desserts. All amazing. But the gem was the owner who came to inform us about our choice of visits. Definitely coming back.

14/03/2024: I had an amazing time at Argegno, the place as well as the hotel. Great hospitality, clean, and the view from the room is worth spending a few more penny. The location is great, well connected through bus/ferry from Como S. Giovanni station, and the bus/ferry stop is right in front of the hotel. Taxi is also available from the station, but quite expensive. There is a restaurant along with the hotel with good food. Breakfast selection is good too. If you want to spend some time far from the hustle bustle of a city, this is the place to go.

29/02/2024: I was here 3 months ago with my sister. Great room, super nice view from our room. The only downside is the small bathroom.

20/02/2024: I didn't stay, so I can't evaluate the rooms. but I ate for dinner for Valentine's Day and it was a very pleasant evening, an elegant but relaxing environment, without exaggerating.
Excellent quality food and the right portions (I hate nuvelle cuisine dishes) and very friendly and helpful staff (very honest prices)
.... and now I can't wait to return in spring to try the terrace directly on the lake,
wonderful location.. Well done.

Il servizio è attento , gentile, premuroso senza essere invadente.
L'ambiente è accogliete e caldo
I piatti in lista non sono molti ma danno la garanzia che tutto sia fresco e preparato al momento come nei fatti si è rivelato.
Giuste le porzioni e tutto ben fatto e ben presentato

21/01/2024: Sono stata qui per un pranzo con amici, che hanno scelto il menù degustazione. Personalmente ho preferito scegliere solo un antipasto e un secondo, che ho trovato di quantità soddisfacente e molto ben cucinati.
Il menù degustazione mi è sembrato un po’ caro e “fraintendibile”: viene proposta una bottiglia di vino che, a fianco, riporta il prezzo di 79€. Per chi però viene considerato “ospite” e riceve un menù senza prezzi, non è chiaro che la bottiglia non è compresa, bensì solamente “suggerita” come abbinamento, perciò il rischio è di trovarsi 80€ in più sul conto inconsapevolemente. Suggerisco ai ristoratori di specificarlo per evitare incomprensioni.
24/10/2023: We came across Locanda Sant’Anna by random choice walking up the hill. What a surprise! Our host was Simone who helps run the place. The service was very personable and we immediately felt welcomed and like part of the family. We had dinner and ordered the steak on the salt hot plate, which was cooked just enough to allow the hot plate to do the rest perfectly. I recommend making a reservation before going because the restaurant operates depending on the guests, and doesn’t have a fixed timeline.

03/10/2023: Truly this is the best gelato on the lake. We ate ice cream in every town, but this is the only place we went back to … multiple times. Just incredible. The pistaccio and marron glacé and …. Just WOW.
22/07/2023: Gelato mediocre e proprietari scortesi.Dopo essere usciti poco dopo sono rientriamo a chiedere un'altro tovagliolo per il mio bambino e lei scortesemente dice già dato prima con gelato!Veramente maleducati.

We have been coming here for a few years
The food is great and have had lunch and dinner.
It is not a fine class restaurant but a bar with atmosphere and full of locals who are good fun.
Laura, Lorenzo, Louise and Debora are brilliant.
Please understand that in the summer this place is full all of the time (as is the piazzetta)
None the less when they do get the chance it is great to chat
Now over Christmas although still very busy it is nice to chat.
Following a meal out we left a present behind and went back to our apartment.
I called in today and before I could say a word they held it up and gave it to me
