29/06/2026: A wonderful little restaurant we discovered while driving through to Lugano. Beautiful view, friendly waiters, very good quality food. Reasonable prices.

18/07/2026: I'm 34 years old, and for just as long, my family and I have been coming to Lake Lugano several times a year. We always used to go to the same four or five restaurants. Yesterday, my wife and I went to Trattoria della Vigna for the first time. We were thrilled. We're so glad we discovered this fantastic restaurant. The amuse-bouche was delicious. We love vitello tonnato, and here it was exceptionally tasty and beautifully presented. The spring onions, radishes, and gherkins were a perfect complement, and the veal was of excellent quality. The eggplant was also surprisingly delicious. The main course, with pike-perch from the lake, mashed potatoes, and a delicate lemon sauce, was perfect. I also highly recommend my spaghetti with beef. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. It's a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a meal.

24/05/2026: You arrive on the lakefront of Lake Lugano on the Italian side and can be reached from Como or Switzerland. I recommend going through the Ponte Tresa customs checkpoint from Italy (set your GPS for Ponte Tresa and then for Crotto to avoid a detour). If you're arriving from Switzerland, you'll arrive before Porlezza; from Italy, after Porlezza and the tunnel. The restaurant has two internal parking spaces, going down a short private road towards the lake and also above the road. The lake view from a seat is priceless, and the food is divine. Perch ravioli number one, pike number two, but everything was delicious, even the pistachio cream. Boat access is also available! With a private dock, divine desserts made by Pasticceria Italia in Porlezza. (go here too) We will DEFINITELY be back.

09/08/2026: Fast service, excellent value for money. The atmosphere is sometimes a bit 'rushed' due to the high turnover. At other times, it's perfectly fine! Delicious pizzas, pastas, and desserts.

02/08/2026: We just arrived at the campsite on the first day, and honestly, the service was terrible. Instead of being polite and saying, "We're here to help," it was the opposite. There wasn't even a smile from any of the staff. I don't know why. I hope they change this work environment soon.

08/08/2026: Our visit to Bistrò Lurati was truly outstanding from a culinary perspective. The dishes were creative, sophisticated, and offered a unique flavor experience. We thoroughly enjoyed both the appetizer and the main course. Unfortunately, we decided against dessert, even though we had been looking forward to it, because the wait times were simply too long. We waited about 20 minutes for the appetizer and then around an hour for the main course. We also had to wait a long time for the bill. Overall, the service seemed very inattentive. This wasn't just our impression; guests at neighboring tables were also frequently sitting and waiting, sometimes barely being acknowledged. It's a real shame, because the food is truly exceptional. It's all the more baffling that the service couldn't keep up with this level of quality.

15/07/2026: We ate very well, the service was fast and attentive despite the restaurant being full... the lakeside location is truly beautiful... The tables for two are on the balcony, distracting from other tables, making any dinner romantic. The fish-filled agnolotti were delicious... it's been years since I've had a good Corsican first course...

The kind service is warm, welcoming and friendly, the freshly prepared entrees are fabulously flavorful and plated enticingly in a comfortably cozy, yet sophisticated dining venue. Overall a completely enjoyable and memorable Italian experience, unconditionally recommended!

I truly appreciated the attention to detail, the elegant and artistic atmosphere of the restaurant, and the attentive service of the staff, who were always friendly and professional. The dishes, passionately presented by the chef, were refined and perfectly balanced in flavor. A refined experience that I absolutely recommend.

19/04/2026: Wonderful bar, reasonable prices. I spent about €150 for 80 sandwiches served very quickly and 10 proseccos. The location is beautiful, with a view of the "lache" (as they say in the local dialect). The staff was friendly and they even tipped me. The only problem was that there were some dogs, but they left afterward; they were just passing through.

05/06/2026: A takeout pizzeria with four tables inside and four outside, not on the street. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. We didn't pay a cover charge, which was already a pleasant surprise. We'll see if it lives up to expectations... 🤙🏻

11/07/2026: The location is good and I can therefore understand why people are attracted there. The meat was raw. The pasta with octopus had VERY little octopus. The pizza that had been ordered did not arrive until 15 minutes after the other food. The waiters did not seem to be present and we had to help ourselves. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant.

10/03/2026: This lovely little pastry shop is fantastic!!! The staff are extremely helpful and even help with translations!!!
