An excellent restaurant, deserving of the star it received.

Kitchen Restaurant, part of the Sheraton Lake Como, is a truly outstanding fine dining destination that has held its Michelin star since 2015 — and after experiencing it, it’s very clear that it fully deserves it. What makes this place even more special is its unique setting. Although it belongs to the Sheraton, the restaurant itself is separate from the main hotel, located in a charming, renovated historic building surrounded by a small park. Dining here feels intimate and peaceful, with tables overlooking the greenery, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere that perfectly complements the cuisine. The food is simply at a superlative level. We opted for the tasting menu (second version), and one detail I truly appreciated was the flexibility they offered. We were able to make small adjustments — in our case, replacing the pigeon with the catch of the day — and the team was more than happy to accommodate. This level of openness and attention to the guest experience is rare and highly appreciated. Every dish was flawless, from presentation to execution. The flavours were precise, balanced and deeply refined — the kind of cuisine where every detail matters and nothing is left to chance. It’s the type of experience where you remember not just the dishes, but the feeling of the entire meal. Considering the level of technique, ingredients and overall execution, the prices are very fair, especially for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Another highlight of the evening was the interaction with the kitchen team. The chefs came to our table, asked for feedback and offered additional insights about the dishes. This personal touch elevated the experience even further and showed genuine passion for their craft. Kitchen is not just a restaurant, but a complete fine dining experience — elegant, thoughtful and perfectly executed in every aspect. A must-visit in Como for anyone who appreciates high-level gastronomy.

Valentine's Day dinner. Everything was perfect. Attention to detail and special dishes. The foie gras buttons and pigeon breast were perfect. Chef Andrea is a special person. Kind, gentle, and uniquely polite. Great qualities in addition to extraordinary professional talent. A well-deserved success.

The restaurant is meticulously curated and elegant, with a refined, modern yet warm design, where every detail is designed to make guests feel welcomed and pampered. The soft lighting, sophisticated furnishings, and intimate atmosphere contribute to a truly special atmosphere. The dishes are spectacular, not only aesthetically but also for their balance, technique, and depth of flavor. Each course tells a story, with top-quality ingredients enhanced by creative, never forced pairings. The presentations are true works of art, always at the service of flavor, making each dish surprising and harmonious. The service is impeccable, attentive, professional, and perfectly timed, without ever being stiff or aloof. The staff demonstrates great expertise and passion, accompanying the experience with clear and precise explanations, anticipating every need with ease and elegance. Everything is enveloped in a magical atmosphere, where time and hustle and bustle seem to stand still, leaving room only for the pleasure of the cuisine and the moment. A restaurant that offers more than just dinner, but a complete and refined experience, absolutely worth experiencing at least once.

It's always a pleasant experience returning to The Kitchen: excellent food, a relaxing atmosphere, and professional staff. We find both iconic dishes and captivating new additions. We'll definitely be back, and congratulations to everyone.

A fantastic restaurant near Como. Easily accessible by boat and then a short walk. Knowledgeable and friendly service and delicious dishes. A special wine pairing with French wines was offered by guest wine expert Rampoldi. We had a table in the conservatory (facing the beautiful garden) where the heating was set a bit high. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The place and atmosphere are amazing. You can choose from the menu if you want, but the best option is to choose one of the fixed menus. It was very enjoyable.

The 7 course fix menu was very disappointing. It is definitely not Michelin one star level. A huge dog was brought to the restaurant by one of the guest, which is very rare in the Michelin restaurant
