We had Laura as our server for the night and she made our experience worth while! Not only was the food and all staff amazing but they all took the time to explain each dish brought out to us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner in Lake Como. Thank you Laura we really appreciated it!

The food and service absolutely live up to its Michelin one-star reputation. In fact, I would even rate the service at a two-star level. It was exceptionally professional yet warm, with every interaction feeling natural, effortless, and perfectly balanced—never overdone. The staff either have extensive experience or have received outstanding training, and it truly shows. The food was equally impressive: beautifully executed, full of flavor, and, in my opinion, somewhere between the standard of one and two Michelin stars. A highly recommended dining experience.

A beautiful setting and, above all, an authentic Italian dining experience. The cuisine was excellent, respectful of tradition, and every dish felt carefully prepared with quality ingredients. The young members of the service team deserve special praise. They were energetic, attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome. They switched effortlessly between Italian and English and were always courteous and respectful. The only minor downside was the wine service. The sommelier mistakenly believed I had ordered four glasses of wine when I had only been served and consumed three. It was quickly resolved, but it left a slightly disappointing impression Overall, I would happily return for the food, the beautiful location, and the warm hospitality of the service team. It was an enjoyable experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Como.

What an incredible restaurant. In my opinion, The Kitchen is fully deserving of its Michelin star — and personally, I feel it warrants two. Of course, I’m just a customer and not a culinary expert, as they may say, but either way, the food was absolutely delightful. Every dish was bursting with flavour, and I was genuinely surprised by how beautifully all the ingredients complemented each other. The service was fantastic from start to finish. We were looked after by a lady called Silvia, who was brilliant. She gave me great advice with the menu, and I’m so glad I trusted her opinion because the experience did not disappoint. Silvia is a real credit to The Kitchen, and a huge hats off to the chef and his team. The dishes were incredible, the atmosphere was lovely, and the whole experience was one we will remember. Thank you to everyone at The Kitchen.

A divine experience. Starting with the simply enchanting location: the outdoor tables are nestled in the Sheraton park, an oasis of tranquility where the elegant atmosphere blends with nature. Next to the restaurant is the vegetable garden, where many of the locally sourced ingredients come from, visible to guests and a tangible symbol of the restaurant's attention to quality and seasonality. Each dish tells a story of passion, research, and attention to detail. The flavors are surprising, perfectly balanced, and capable of thrilling with every bite. Each course is a sensory journey that highlights the raw ingredients through refined techniques and a creativity that is never overdone. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and discreet, always ready to accompany guests on a gastronomic journey of the highest caliber. A Michelin-starred restaurant that transforms a dinner into a memorable experience, to be enjoyed and remembered.

Delicious food, spectacular presentation, perfect atmosphere. An unforgettable experience.

Excellent. Excellent food (the only comment I have is about the temperature of some appetizers. The cold cancels out the flavors...). I had to deal with traffic problems to get to the restaurant and arrived after the lunch cutoff time. I advised them of the delay and was reassured and welcomed with understanding. Simply perfect service; highly professional staff. Splendid atmosphere. More than fair value for money (obviously excluding wine: if you want to drink a certain way, you know you'll spend more on wine than on food). I will return and highly recommend.
