30/04/2026: First time at this restaurant on Via Borgovico Vecchia, just steps from the stadium. The place is well-maintained, with limited seating.
The menu isn't terribly extensive, but it does offer interesting dishes. There aren't any dishes inspired by tradition or the local area, which, in my humble opinion, is a real shame.
The dishes are carefully crafted and well-presented. I had the pasta with clams and bottarga and the apple tatin with ice cream, both delicious.
I find the price a bit excessive; 20% less would have been more appropriate, but these days, in Como, you can no longer be surprised by these prices.
That said, the food was good, and I'm glad I tried it.

07/05/2026: We went for our anniversary on Saturday evening, the first time ever.
The welcome was excellent, the table service very friendly, even though the restaurant seems very formal given that it offers a refined dining experience, the young staff and our waiter made us feel like family.
Serena, the dining room manager, was a very nice person. Chef Alessio came to the table in person to take our order for the tasting menu. He was very nice and friendly, introduced himself and presented the menu, and we trusted his choices. What can I say? The dishes were beautiful, all different for each course, the food was tasty and well presented, the wine excellent, and the price was fair for what was offered. Well done, well done.

In addition to offering spectacular gelato, this gelateria also offers a wide selection for those who are lactose intolerant or follow a vegan diet.
Raffaella is the true point of reference for this place; her kindness, helpfulness, and attention to customer service truly make the difference.

26/04/2026: A simple and welcoming place, with extremely kind waiters and owners. Pasta alla meunière with porcini mushroom, walnut, and truffle sauce... sublime, perfect in every way. The arrosticini are excellent, the best I've ever eaten, and the best part is that they're always the same. These flavors are as authentic as ever, year after year, and just as good as the first time. The recommended Maddobella red wine is also excellent. This evening we also tried an amaro called Ratafia, a discovery, delicious. Thank you, Vito and Sonia, for this wonderful experience.

09/05/2026: Exceptional cuisine. Dream location and incredibly attentive staff. I booked a table with a lake view a few weeks in advance by email and I wasn't disappointed... We received a warm welcome. The dishes were gourmet. The view was breathtaking... What more could you ask for to start your vacation? Everything was perfect. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

18/02/2026: This hotel is like an old lady who still like…HAS it! You know? In Sweden we have Lill-Babs - an artist who unfortunately passed away the other year. But she was similar in all the good ways. Playful and flirty! Graceful. Some kind of dirty dignity- I don’t know. Call it what you want. Well. I miss her. This hotel I don’t need to make fantasies about - I can book a room easy. I have the money.

26/10/2025: We visited this wonderful cafe three different times in our 4 day visit. They have excellent snacks, coffee and drinks no matter what time you need a pick me up. Matteo, the owner, is awesome and gave us fantastic recommendations for other restaurants in Como and even made a reservation for us! If we get the chance, we’ll be back again!

Incredible guys, their story and their preparation are beyond compare. It's completely worth it, if not more than you'll spend!
24/03/2026: We spent a truly enjoyable evening at Trattoria Contemporanea.
The cuisine is modern and elegant, yet very pleasant and natural, without ever being forced.
What we appreciated most was the "modular" menu: a smart and very contemporary choice that allows you to tailor your menu to your tastes and dietary needs.
It was perfect for us—I'm vegetarian and my husband isn't—and this flexibility is definitely appreciated, compared to the usual fixed menus that serve the whole table.
The location is also charming, tastefully curated.
Other positive and particularly appreciated notes: the bread trolley and the option to choose cheeses instead of the traditional dessert.
Sincere compliments to the entire team—we'll be back! 🌟🍽️

30/04/2026: This restaurant alone is worth a trip back to Lake Como. Romantic, charming, and full of heart. The owner was so kind, the service was flawless, and every bite was incredible. We got the pistachio paccheri, fish ravioli, duck, tiramisu - best duck I’ve ever had! Champagne and red wine amazing as well.
Our Airbnb host recommended it to us and it’s definitely a must-visit❤️
