31/05/2026: The food is truly delicious, and all the dishes get A+. A special mention goes to the perch fillet risotto, truly exquisite! The value for money is excellent, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the wide variety on the menu. They are also extremely attentive and willing to accommodate children's dietary needs, accepting changes to dishes upon request (such as not putting garlic in the polenta). Highly recommended!

10/05/2026: We chose Osteria della Vigna to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was simply impeccable. The restaurant has a long history: it has been open since 1978, when it opened as a home-cooked trattoria in the hamlet of Begna di Porlezza. Over the years, it has remained faithful to tradition, evolving with great care in the selection of ingredients and the culinary offerings. Even today, the cuisine follows seasonality and emphasizes local ingredients, maintaining a traditional, family-style approach. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, intimate, and perfect for a special dinner: soft lighting, refined spaces, and a sense of tranquility that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is extremely kind and professional, attentive without being intrusive. The service was fast, well-organized, and always smiling, something that truly makes the difference on important occasions. From food to dessert, everything was excellent: beautifully presented dishes, balanced flavors, and a quality that was clearly perceived, in keeping with the restaurant's long-standing reputation among residents and visitors. A highly successful anniversary dinner, in a place that combines tradition, quality, and a sincere welcome. 📍 Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back.

10/06/2026: We dined at Acquadolce last night. The restaurant is picturesquely situated right on the lake, and the ambiance was tasteful and elegant. We opted for two different tasting menus with accompanying wine pairings. 1. Service The service was attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. The only drawback was that we were served by a total of five different waiters/waitresses, which felt somewhat impersonal and warrants a one-star deduction. 2. Wine The wine pairings for the different menus were very thoughtfully curated, and the sommelier presented the wines informatively. Unfortunately, all the wines were served on ice; both the white and red wines were far too cold and therefore couldn't fully express their aromas and flavors. In this price range, I expect a sommelier to ensure that even the most essential details are properly implemented. 3. Food The amuse-bouches were nice, but unfortunately, they didn't particularly impress us. The menus (Valli and Mare) were technically well-prepared and harmoniously composed. The meat and fish were cooked to perfection, and the plates were attractively presented. In terms of flavor, I would have liked to see a bit more daring from the chef. The jus served with the first and third courses was very subtle, making it difficult to discern the promised aromas. The pasta from the second course was significantly more flavorful. In conclusion, I would like to point out that it is ultimately the details that distinguish good cuisine from mediocrity. There is certainly room for improvement in this area at Restaurant Acquadolce, but that is to be expected given the ambitious pricing.

10/06/2026: I went to the Acqua Dolce restaurant on Lake Como for a friend's wedding, and I have to say it was absolutely beautiful. The location is stunning, with a direct view of the lake that makes the atmosphere truly special. The food was fantastic, everything was delicious and carefully prepared, and the service was also top-notch. The waiters were friendly, kind, and always available, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only small point: finding parking isn't easy. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place, especially for important occasions and special events.

The magic of mixed platters, delicious local recipes at absolutely fair prices! Friendly and attentive staff, sought-after quality in a charming place like Brunate.

01/06/2026: We didn't stay at the hotel, we just had dinner. The dinner was perfect. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. We preferred to dine inside with the air conditioning after spending all day out in the sun. The menu doesn't have a huge selection of dishes, but in addition to the set menu, it offers a selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses of the day. A good wine cellar with a wide range of Italian wines. Spaghetti with clams, octopus on a bed of mashed potatoes, and dessert with a bottle of white wine, Villa Antinori. Everything was delicious, the spaghetti perfect, and the octopus tender. Perfect service, Onder the waiter and his colleague were very kind. The final bill was reasonable, and they even gave us a small discount. A truly lovely evening.

27/05/2026: A very pleasant short stay. Neat, well-maintained rooms, friendly reception, and there's also a parking space right at the hotel for a reasonable €10.

The steaks are here in focus with the open grill cooking in the centre of restaurant and the attention for presenting the meet, including a selection of salts that real has a huge impact on the taste. Also very friendly staff that, even while not speaking very good English, tired their best to be communicative and offer all the explanations and answers requested. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere

12/05/2026: We traveled all the way from Veneto to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant, and it was a perfect choice. The service was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The wine list is extensive and well-chosen, but the real highlight is undoubtedly the quality of the meats, which are truly exceptional. The kangaroo tartare was extraordinary, while the Florentine steak literally melted in your mouth. We had a wonderful evening, made even more enjoyable by the owner and his staff's kindness. Highly recommended!
