01/01/2026: Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. It took us about two and a half hours to finish an appetizer and a first course, despite the fact that there were only us and one other table in the dining room. It was a truly difficult wait to justify. The risotto was tasty, but unfortunately, it arrived lukewarm, a significant detail in a dish of this type. The espresso was also served lukewarm and tasted more like a Nespresso machine than the kind you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. A particularly negative note was the welcome glass: presented as a gesture of courtesy, it turned out to be a 15-euro charge, a decidedly bitter and inelegant surprise. There was also little attention paid to allergens and intolerances, an aspect that should be essential these days. The service, while friendly, clearly seemed unorganized and unprofessional. From a restaurant in a location like Lake Como, and especially given the final bill, one expects much more. Unfortunately, this is yet another disappointment in an area that often focuses on the view, forgetting what should really make the difference: quality, care, and professionalism.

28/12/2025: Our second visit but the 1st was a group event so we came back for the views and atmosphere. This time we got to taste the food properly. It is an excellent venue, exceptional views of the lake, with discrete, professional and knowledgeable service. We shall certainly be back.

08/10/2025: We ate there twice in one week at the beginning of October 2025. Communication with Paolo via WhatsApp was great. Service was very good. The food was excellent. The wine list was very select. The dessert was amazing. Typically Italian but completely different...the view of Lake Como was breathtaking from so high up. Highly recommended.

15/12/2025: The pizza is good, thin and crispy, with a wide selection of flavors to choose from. The food is also excellent. The only flaw is the desserts; perhaps less choice for desserts, with a little more quality. Highly recommended.

07/12/2025: I went here for dinner with a friend. The pizza was excellent, the service was very professional, and the waiters were friendly without being intrusive. Definitely a wonderful discovery, I'll be back.

06/01/2026: Amazing food, great & kind service. I come here often with my italian girlfriend and we’re always so satisfied. The Polenta Uncia is a must if you haven’t tried it, and the pizzocheri are also great. Ideal for couple family and friends. That said, I reccomend to do your reservation well in advance as they get full easily. 100% reccomend

04/01/2026: We visited this wonderful restaurant for lunch with colleagues. It's a charming and picturesque place. The view from the balconies is fantastic! The restaurant is warm, welcoming, and clean. We enjoyed appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts, and then enjoyed excellent prosecco and wines. The service was friendly and professional. I can't wait to return.

31/12/2025: I've been to many restaurants with my family, and all three of us agree that "Ristorante Tarantola" is the absolute best we've ever been to. Elegant atmosphere, high-quality cuisine with sophisticated dishes, impeccable and attentive service. After all, as the saying goes: it's the details that make the difference. Do I recommend it? Absolutely YES!!!

22/12/2025: A lovely evening with friends to exchange Christmas greetings in a lovely place with friendly staff and good food. Perhaps a little too much garlic in my wife's tagliolini.

27/12/2025: My father-in-law chose Gnocchetto Restaurant to celebrate Christmas early with his family. Lunch at the restaurant was his gift to his family. I'd say it was an excellent gift and an excellent choice of restaurant. I didn't give the food five stars only because I chose standard dishes with no special preparation, a choice that I was completely satisfied with. The service was impeccable: attentive and polite, engaging once we made it clear we were willing to participate. We'd been there before and traveled a bit to get there, but it was worth the effort. I can only thank everyone at the restaurant who managed to make it a memorable family experience, even if we weren't at home.

18/12/2025: Very nice atmosphere, a few indoor tables, but in the summer there is also a terrace where you can eat while enjoying a beautiful view of the lake. Very good pizzas and the pizza menu is really extensive. The staff is very kind and helpful, a truly welcoming place, we will definitely return!! Reservations are recommended.
