We come to La Baia every year before Easter and enjoy the great atmosphere, the very cheerful and courteous service with humor, and of course the delicious food.

We keep coming back to this restaurant for an extra ordinary experience including delicious food, incredibly generous service, cosy atmosphere and the views. Your pick up service is another level of dedication and care for your customers. Thank you for creating a celebration of each visit. I could not recommend this place enough. The only wish and hope is to keep up this level of service.

Superb location, excellent food, a bit pricey but worth it. The staff's recommendations for drinks, their friendliness, and their attentiveness deserve special mention. Every dish was exquisite. The beef fillet with foie gras and truffles was divine, as were the fish dishes. A shuttle service is offered. Top-notch! 👍 Thank you for a wonderful evening! Not to mention the view of Lake Como.

We were having dinner in April 2026, food, service and atmosphere were amazing. They have a free shuttle from Menaggio when you book a table. If you want to try local wine and fish, I highly recommend this place. It is something like fish tavern meets a restaurant, friendly vibe but high dining. We loved everything! A trip along the shores of Lake Como was the perfect opportunity to stop for lunch at Ristorante La Baia to try their "Persicotto," the best perch risotto on the lake. The restaurant has several well-appointed rooms inside, as well as several outdoor tables overlooking the lake. There are also two beautiful open-plan rooms with a vast wine list. The cuisine offers both meat and seafood, but here we are on the lake, and we come for their iconic dish, perch risotto. It's served in hot copper pans that keep the rice warm, and the breaded perch fillets are placed on top. The risotto is flavored with timoncello, a liqueur made with thyme and limoncello, which they produce, and creamed with mountain butter. Absolutely extraordinary, it deserves all the praise and fame it enjoys. Special mention goes to their whole-grain bread and the fritto misto, which we ordered while waiting for the risotto. Crispy and dry, served with an excellent tartar sauce. A final treat is a taste of their artisanal Colomba cake, served with coffee alongside Timoncello and Lariosauro. Finally, a shout-out to the wait staff, made up of young, well-trained men and women, always available and smiling... well done.

Delicious fish and stracciatella risotto

We spent one night nearby in Menaggio. The hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We were also allowed to use the shuttle service (pick-up and drop-off to/from the hotel) free of charge. So we treated ourselves to two fantastic, different set menus, including drinks. It was a feast! There's nothing more to say – simply delicious. Right at the beginning, even before ordering, we were served fresh, warm bread straight from the oven. After dessert, we were presented with a whole bottle each of Thymicello and the house Amaro! We could drink as much as we wanted – free of charge. Seriously – where else do you find that? It's incredible. And yes, you can't drink the whole bottle – obviously, but that's not the point. The gesture and the trust shown are amazing! The service was also very friendly, efficient, and attentive, just like in a Michelin-starred restaurant! It couldn't have been better, and it didn't need to be. A definite recommendation.

Passing through with friends, we enjoyed this restaurant and ordered the tasting menu, which was very generous. We had a wonderful meal; the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the view of the lake was lovely. We highly recommend it.
