31/03/2024: A sheltered corner in the narrow streets of the town, a terrace also used in winter, specially sheltered and heated. Greeted by staff who did everything they could to accommodate us even though we hadn't booked. The wine list is excellent. The food too! The place is not huge but still welcomes a good amount of people and there is also an internal area. Price in line with area and proposed offer. I'll be back!

24/03/2024: I booked an aperitif for two with the smart box, in my opinion it's not worth it, just a few things, a slice of cold cuts each and not much cheese either

07/04/2024: First of all, let me clarify that it is not a hotel. It is a historic villa with an adjoining botanical garden, very well cared for. Recommended visit during the flowering period, i.e. from the beginning of April to the end of May. There are numerous plants from different ecosystems, worth mentioning is the valley of ferns and the Japanese style area with lots of bamboo. Many varieties of azaleas and rhododendrons. The Villa houses finds from the family who lived there.

17/11/2023: The property is always kind and welcoming in addition to the breathtaking location with that veranda overlooking the enchanting lake. Excellent choices on the menu which combines lake tradition with the most refined proposals. Optimization of value for money.

12/11/2023: Excellent dinner Homemade appetizers, nerves, beans, Borreta onions, Nostean cold cuts and an excellent polenta uncia. Good service friendly staff.

02/04/2024: I stayed here for three nights in early March and had a phenomenal stay! I chose a lake view room and loved the stunning views of the mountains, sunrises, and peachy sunsets. La Darsena js a 3 minute walk from the ferry station in Tremezzo, so extra ideal if you are planning on checking out all the cities on Lago di Como like I did! Other notes: service was exceptional, breakfast was quaint and filling, and their house restaurant is innovative and delicious. Highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Lago di Como! 💙

15/01/2024: The food was very light and amazing. We weren’t able to make reservations but we were seated right away. Great customer service and even better view, we will be coming back anytime we visit lake como! - Tonno scottato, salsa al vino rosso e cipollotti -Il rosso e il nero - Beef carpaccio Overall 10/10 experience.

30/12/2023: What an elegant space 👏 everything about this hotel is impressive but this restaurant in particular is an absolute pleasure to dine at. Magnificent views overlooking the lake, romantic set-up, welcoming and pleasant staff. Our main and desert dishes were prepared tableside which was both educational and very entertaining and ofcourse delicious. The wine list is also 👌 Perfect night, thank you.

26/10/2023: We had dinner at the restaurant in a simple setting but with attention to detail and very friendly service. I really enjoyed tasting the beers with lots of explanation, the Sciatt and the rice with perch were very good, I was disappointed with the dessert. Definitely recommended

25/12/2023: We were asking for help with someone that speaks Italian to call a restaurant that we made prior dinner reservations however we were not be able to make it after we arrived late into Lake Como and we found Laura from Bar Roma who unselfishly made the call for us. We decided to rest and have dinner instead at Bar Roma and it turns out to be one of the most hospitable experience we had in Italy. The eggplant and pasta here were delicious and what is more important is not only the food and cuisine but the impeccable service from the entire team led by Laura that makes the difference not only to us but the entire room of other guests. My friend secretly informed them it’s my birthday and they surprised me with a cake that comes with fireworks. Wow, i am impressed. Gratitude to Laura for making my day with such wonderful experience.
