A small restaurant in a San Lorenzo Roma side street serving quality food in a mostly outdoor setting. The fillet steak was superb, tender, cooked to perfection and delicious, as were the calamari and risotto. The desserts were home baked and also delicious. The staff were friendly and the service good. The side street walls are covered in graffiti but the restaurant owners either side have done their best to mask it with pretty lights hanging around. Well recommended and value for money.

Be careful of your bill. Make sure the credit card machine responds to the payment. As there is a reply to say that they don't understand... let me give you more precision. It was Friday evening and the restaurant was fairly busy. Our bill came to 92 euros for 2 people dinner and wine. On paying the bill by «credit card « tap ». I was asked if I wanted to have the paper copy. I said yes, the waitress gave me it and left quickly. When I looked at the copy, the actual amount debited was 108 euros (16 euros higher). So I called the waitress back to the table. At first she said that she thought it was the tip….. I reminded her that it was HER that out in the 108 euros NOT ME. She then apologized and came back with 16 euros in cash. (If my bill was 78 and she had charged me 89… Could that be an error on the keypad? So… I won’t make any further comments here, judge for yourself. I will now repeat this information in Italian so that the restaurant can UNDERSTAND what I am writing. Excellent quality food. But two fried fish and a quarter of wine for €50.00 is a steal.

The fish was excellent and incredibly fresh. Everything was portioned out with just the right amount of flavor: a fantastic dinner. We ate outside and were pleasantly entertained by the friendly staff. Highly recommended. Top!
