A quiet and cozy home restaurant. The food is excellent. Homemade and of a high standard. Generous portions. It takes a while for the dishes to arrive but it's totally worth the wait.

Taking an extra five minutes to walk away from the tourist crowds was well worth it. Packed at lunchtime with locals and office workers from nearby businesses tells you, this is the place!. If you're adventurous and have a taste for everything, I recommend a classic Roman dish: Tripa alla Romana. It melts in your mouth, bursting with the flavor of a family recipe. The intensity of the pecorino cheese with the tomato sauce is exquisite, unique, and divine. I've included a photo so you can see what I mean.

Not our best experience. Limited menu presented on a chalk board. Artichokes were over cooked and bitter. Red house wine was not good. House white wine was ok. We would not return.

17/07/2026: Top notch restaurant near the Vatican. I took my wife and two children (14 and 11). The service was excellent and the quality of food is a 10/10. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome.

09/07/2026: Food 10/10! Had the best Cabonara of my life and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal to! The service left something to be desired. Although friendly, 2/3 servers that attended us made us feel slightly uncomfortable (and implied tiping was mandatory despite service being average - forgetting a glass of wine, forgetting to bring desert menu's, etc). Despite the service, I would definitely return because the food was SOOOOOO good!
08/07/2026: A busy restaurant popular with tourists and locals with traditional Roman dishes and an amazing wine list that begs to be tested. Efficent, friendly service.
