This is still one of those authentic Roman places that doesn't lapse into folklore but maintains the values ​​of good cuisine in a simple yet authentic setting. Excellent food, with a special mention for the carbonara, certainly among the best in Rome. Portions that to call generous would be an understatement, and very fair prices! Unfortunately, I don't live nearby, but every time I'm in the area, I find an excuse to stop here. Open only for lunch, except Friday evenings and a few other exceptions. Reservations are highly recommended. Another kudos to the basic but attentive service.

This Roman trattoria is a great place for lunch or dinner, a relaxing experience with excellent food. The atmosphere is superb, and the service is top-notch. 02/06/2026: I went to Pentolaccia for lunch with friends. We sat outside because it was so nice, and the setting was as elegant and clean as the inside. I ordered baked salmon with pea puree, a glass of white wine, and lemon sorbet. Everything was delicious and top-notch! We'll definitely be back!
26/05/2026: The portions are very small. Everything is very scarce. The ham slices are very thin, almost transparent. The same goes for the steak. It's expensive for the service.
