20/06/2025: We had two supplì, a water, a carbonara, an amatriciana, two desserts (both homemade and very good) and two coffees. Bill: €40.
It was all very very good, and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is familiar and immediately put us at ease, we will definitely return, if we pass by this area again!
20/06/2025: Faced with the challenge of what to serve a patron who simply asks to be fed, the restaurant staff chose to serve the food that they are proud of. How can you go wrong with a plate of tripa a la Romana, some well prepared meatballs, and a plate of sauteed chicory.
I truly appreciate a restaurant that can handle such a strange request, and I'm sure they thought I was crazy, but they rose to the challenge and delivered precisely what I was looking for. Food they were proud to serve.
Highly recommended.

15/06/2025: Excellent place to go for great pasta. Enzo explained everything at the entrance, including what the dishes were like, and even recommended the most filling ones—genius!
The waiters are excellent. They saw us feeling so hot and offered to move us to a cooler table.
The best part… the pasta and the price.
I recommend it!

02/07/2025: This restaurant is a real paradise! The pizzas are delicious and cooked to perfection, with fresh and high quality ingredients. But not only pizzas, also the grilled meat is spectacular! The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is welcoming, I highly recommend trying their specialties, both pizza and grilled meat.
27/06/2025: Family atmosphere, the owner is an expert and passionate lover of grilled meat.
The pizzas, however, are also tasty and digestible.
The prices are in line with the quality of the dishes.
The service is attentive and punctual.
I go there often.

18/05/2025: This is an amazing place to come for breakfast! Their maritozzo is great, fresh bread with home made whipped cream. My boyfriend had a cappuccino, americano and two pastries and said it was all amazing. The workers are always happy and singing. I highly recommend coming here :))

21/06/2025: If you want to see smiling waiters in Italy, go to this Argentinian restaurant. We've been to a thousand places in Rome, and only there have we been served with a smile. The steak is top-notch. I'm Argentinian, and the quality and the level of the meat were worth it: Angus, asado, skirt steak, chorizo, etc. They have Fernet, Merlot, Quilmes, you name it... Tramontina knives!

28/06/2025: 🍷Ended my first night in Rome exactly the way I wanted — with wine, cured meats, and the charm of Trastevere.
I came all the way to La Prosciutteria in Trastevere (even though there’s a location near the Pantheon) because this neighborhood has a vibe I absolutely love. full of soul♥️
This spot offers generous small plates and great wines at a super reasonable price — I had my favorite, Chianti Classico, and it hit the spot. Perfect pairing, perfect setting.
27/06/2025: This marks my sixth time in Italy.
My first meal after arriving in Rome was this tavern I had visited back in 2016 and 2019, known for its Italian cured ham. It’s a shame that the staff who welcomed me back then is no longer there. Even so, the familiar taglieri ham platter and the richly flavored panini were just as delicious as I remembered. I couldn’t help but cheer in my mind.
It feels so good to return to a place filled with memories.

I recommend tagliata with porcini mushrooms.

Apprezzato per la cucina tradizionale dei Castelli Romani, con piatti come le fettuccine ai porcini e tartufo, pappardelle al cinghiale e dolci fatti in casa alle fragoline di bosco.
L’ambiente è piccolo, accogliente , con un servizio cordiale.
È una scelta ideale per chi cerca autenticità, sapori genuini .

24/05/2025: Absolute recommendation. Small restaurant with modest menu. We had a very nice meal. Entrecote and pasta and a delicious tiramisu for dessert. Owner also offered a delicious home-made liqueur. Normal prices. Service was fine. Because we were sitting outside, the atmosphere was not great. Inside was perhaps cozier. But that will be different in the summer.
21/05/2025: Incredible food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. This restaurant was just down the road from our accomodating in Rome and was recommended by a local. The food was fantastic! We ordered the caramelised cherry tomatoes and fried artichokes as a starter, and for the mains we shared the Cacio e Pepe pasta and a salad. It was delicious and so fresh! We finished with the tiramisu for dessert - also delicious! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant when you’re next in Rome!
