For lovers of refined cuisine in a tastefully furnished restaurant

Restaurant DaLù was a very pleasant surprise for us. Of course, we chose it based on photos and ratings, but it exceeded our expectations. First of all, we loved the interior design of the restaurant, and the service was impeccable. The food was equally good. As we visited the day after New Year’s Eve, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dish - for a lucky year: lentils with a traditional Italian New Year’s sausage. It was a very thoughtful and generous gesture on their part. We tried carciofo alla romana once again, but unfortunately it confirmed our belief that carciofo alla giudia remains our favorite. While this version was good, it simply doesn’t have the same depth of flavor. Besides the artichoke, we also ordered an appetizer inspired by tacos, with various fillings. We have to admit that the one with duck was our favorite. For main courses, we chose two very different options: shrimp risotto and beef Wellington in a perfectly baked crust. The beef Wellington was outstanding - extremely well cooked, with a beautiful crust. Desserts were just as memorable: a beautifully executed crêpes Suzette and a reinterpreted tiramisu. This is definitely a place worth trying for either lunch or dinner when visiting Rome.

Once again, a rewarding experience for the palate. The service, hospitality, and atmosphere create an elegant, intimate, and attentively detailed environment. Thank you for the tastings, in anticipation of our 2026 event dinners!

What a wonderful discovery! This small, charming restaurant, tucked away on a side street in the beautiful Trastevere district, was a delightful find. From the incredibly friendly and helpful service to the lovely ambiance, and most importantly, the fantastic food! Everything was perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. We're already looking forward to our next visit on our next trip to Rome!

Nice space with good service, but the food quality is inconsistent; in most cases, they miss the mark by trying too hard to be fusion/nouvelle cuisine. Far too expensive for what it is.
