We discovered this gem expanding our search after being disappointed by a well-reviewed but mediocre safe-for-celiac restaurant. And we are glad we did! Right on the charming piazza Campo dei Fiori. Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten-free and safe for celiacs (those who order gluten free get a special placemat, new wrapped silverware, and special colored plates). The servers were very attentive and friendly. And the food was great!! Our best meal in Rome. We especially loved the lasagna and cacio e pepe pasta. We loved it so much here, we canceled our reservation at another place the next night and came back again! A great find for celiacs and non-celiacs alike!

I ordered pasta with truffle and it was quite tasteless, it had pieces of truffle but 0 truffle flavor. Since I came specifically for pasta with truffle, I was disappointed... yes, when I said it they behaved quite well and apologized, the seafood pizza was my husband was fine. The service a little confused but very friendly. PS: They didn't charge me for the pasta at the end, if they had come to ask during the meal, I would have mentioned it before.

Fantastic food and service. Ordered gluten free and they had lots of options and were very careful with serving so it was right. Can highly recommend this place.

13/03/2024: Looking for a place for lunch in the area we came across this tavern with great final satisfaction; family atmosphere, kind, helpful owner and delicious and plentiful dishes starting from the super starter which in addition to the excellent cold cuts includes other delights (tripe, coratella, chickpeas, various bruschettas...). The first courses come in a half portion version of 150g or a full portion (200g); fettuccine with porcini mushrooms very good but the others are also worth trying as are the second courses of which we tried the scallops with porcini mushrooms. The desserts offered at the end of lunch were very welcome and good. The prices are very honest and in addition to returning I would certainly recommend this tavern to anyone who happens to be in the area.
