Excellent appetizers, excellent porchetta, excellent beans with pork rind, spectacular bread... And I couldn't go any further. Oh, the fast and impeccable service. Thank goodness you're far away, otherwise I risk ending up with porchetta too, given the quantity and quality of the food!!!! See you next time...

Excellent food and cheap perfect quality price
Fraschette as they were in the 1960s and '70s no longer exist, but this is one of the few that still comes close to that model, starting with the furnishings: wooden and metal table and benches, straw-paper tablecloths, thick tavern glasses, classic tavern measures for wine (strictly from Castelli, excellent by the way) and water, and paper napkins. Everything else is typical of a Roman trattoria, and everything is excellent! Here are the things that particularly impressed me: I think I've eaten the best porchetta in Ariccia here in my entire life (and as a seventy-year-old Roman, I think I've tasted enough to make comparisons); the buffalo mozzarella is excellent and incredibly fresh; The pasta dishes—both my rigatoni with pajata and the amatriciana, cacio e pepe, gricia, and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms that the other diners ordered—were all excellently prepared and generously seasoned! And then there was everything else, equally good.
I was truly pleasantly surprised. An experience worth repeating!

We often go to Dar Vignarolo for lunch with friends because it's a guaranteed success. The tripe and pork rinds with beans are excellent, the pasta dishes are exceptional, and all at a fair price. The staff is friendly and polite, they really know what they're doing. The only downside is the owner, who's a Juventus fan.
