Arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed.... despite this, very friendly staff and excellent food.

I went for dinner two nights in a row. The atmosphere was comfortable and very quiet. The food was delicious and top-quality, and the service was impeccable! My favorite seafood restaurant in Rome!

Very elegant restaurant, excellent food, always helpful staff. Everything you'd expect from a restaurant off the beaten path in Rome. Unfortunately, I have to give my spaghetti with clams a mediocre rating. It's been a long time since I've had one, and I was very excited to try it. I found the dish lacked any clam flavor, just spaghetti with a little oil and the clams on top. A sprinkling of parsley on top wouldn't have gone amiss, but I did find the parsley sprigs annoying while chewing the pasta. I think I was unlucky with this dish; I think the restaurant's quality is much higher than this.

Our first experience at Chiaroscuro, and I must say we were truly impressed. From the moment we arrived, we found an elegant, refined, yet welcoming atmosphere, in a truly beautiful location that immediately made you feel at ease. The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, knowledgeable, always available, and attentive without ever being intrusive. You could sense great professionalism, but also a genuine focus on the customer. We sampled several dishes, and each one was top-notch, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the presentation and flavor. The wine list was also excellent, with truly delightful pairings that made the experience even more complete. It was a lunch that left us truly satisfied in every way: the cuisine, the service, and the atmosphere. It's definitely a place we'll gladly return to and one we recommend to anyone looking for a refined yet authentic experience in Rome.
