01/06/2025: I have been to this restaurant three times. The first two I found it quite good. Decent menu, reasonable prices. This last time the quality and service definitely worsened. As well as the price. A bitter asked for at the last, after asking for the bill, not even offered, total 175.50 euros.

08/06/2025: Situato a due passi da Torre Argentina e Pantheon, Il Lucano è una piccola gemma nel cuore di Roma. L’ubicazione centralissima lo rende ideale per una pausa autentica tra un monumento e l’altro. Ma ciò che lo rende davvero speciale è il modo in cui riesce a far convivere l’anima verace della cucina lucana con l’atmosfera affascinante del centro storico romano.

Fabrizio is not just an extraordinary chef, he is an artist of taste, a guardian of authentic flavours, a man who cooks with his heart even before with his hands. His dishes are not just eaten: they are experienced, felt, remembered. Each course is a small masterpiece, where innovation meets tradition in a perfect balance. 31/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato per la prima volta in questo ristorante trovato su The Fork. Il locale è molto bello e ben curato nei minimi dettagli e l'atmosfera generale è molto piacevole nonostante sia un po' rumoroso. Il servizio è stato rapido e cortese fornendoci anche consigli sul menù che prevede cucina romana ma con influenze salentine. Abbiamo preso un Supplì di orecchiette con cime di rapa e delle Crocchette di pollo alla romana veramente degne di nota!!! Poi abbiamo scelto tre pizze per via del profumo inebriante che veniva dal forno all'ingresso del locale. Le pizze sono fine e di dimensioni enormi ma allo stesso tempo leggere e molto digeribili. Da provare!

10/05/2025: I had dinner last night with 4 friends, few times have I eaten so well and, above all, I was treated so well. Very nice and helpful owner, not at all intrusive and always with a smile. When we went to pay the bill, in addition to a significant discount, he was super available for a chat, all accompanied with some truly fine rum and cocoa beans that I had never tasted before, and to make matters worse he decided to offer us a second tasting of the same rum, which very few people, especially if they were owners, would have done. As an appetizer we took a platter for 4, excellent cheeses and exceptional cured meats, especially the smoked meats. My friends and I opted to take all 4 of the different first courses, avoiding the usual carbonara or amatriciana and opting for something more sophisticated, and none of us were disappointed, everything was delicious and the portions, as well as being generous, are very full of their seasoning so that we can enjoy it with bread. Very good desserts. No flaws, the prices are more than fair for the quality of the food and the portions of the dishes, a restaurant that is not having the success it actually deserves. I will definitely return and as soon as possible. Thanks again to Andrea for the welcome and the nice chat he gave us: a young boy, with so much passion and love for his work, despite all the difficulties that this entails, always with a smile👍.

04/06/2025: A fantastic experience! We were only in Rome for 2 days and ended up here both times (after trying other spots). Excellent pasta, even better service. The owner is lovely - so personable and it’s obvious that his employees love him, as did we! The truffle carbonara and the amatriciana were exquisite, along with the suppli. The wines that were recommended to us paired perfectly with our food! Arsen and Ibra were such great servers. They were both so knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we had the best time, each night! Make sure to stop by this restaurant during your next trip to Roma. You won’t be disappointed!

30/05/2025: Avevo prenotato il giorno prima specificando al direttore di sala che mi ha risposto al telefono che saremmo stati in 2 adulti e 2 bambini piccoli disponibile quindi a qualsiasi posizione di tavolo poiché , essendo proprietaria di un ristorante so bene che due bambini piccoli avrebbero potuto disturbare un po’. arriviamo il 24 maggio sera, prima di accomodarci al tavolo che ci avevano assegnato il direttore di sala esordisce subito con una raccomandazione ai miei bambini “Miraccomando bambini non fare troppa confusione” . Ordiniamo , arrivata l’acqua il solito direttore di sala si avvicina dicendoci che il tavolo accanto al nostro si lamentava della confusione che i miei bambini facevano(secondo me cosa non vera) , che stavamo disturbando, e che all’interno non c’erano altri tavoli disponibili per poterci cambiare di posto, e quindi fra le righe ci ha chiesto gentilmente di andarcene . quindi consiglio spassionato, se avete dei bambini non scegliete questo ristorante!

28/05/2025: Our favorite restaurant in Rome! Fantastic food. Excellent and knowledgable service. An elegant, yet welcoming atmosphere. If you are looking for delicious gourmet food, with a focus on local ingredients and unusual flavor combinations, this is a terrific choice at a very reasonable price.

You eat VERY WELL if you find yourself in Centocelle go and eat good and beautiful things. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. P.s. the cicchetti are a war.

01/05/2025: Very nice staff. Lovely pastries, but I needed more of a meal to sustain me through the day. After some translation assistance, they generously made me some avocado toast with smoked salmon..the interior was very pretty and modern.
