28/11/2025: Picking up the kids at the airport on a Sunday lunchtime, we looked online for a restaurant in Fiumicino. We saw "La Scorpacciata," called to make a reservation at 2 p.m., and it was fine for four people. We arrived with a bit of difficulty parking, let's say, the place is small and has an outdoor veranda. After that, a world of flavors, authenticity, and courtesy opened up to us. Everything was very good, excellent value for money. I recommend it, and for me it's a reference point in Fiumicino. Thanks to all the staff, we had a great time, see you soon.

29/10/2025: A great experience. We were a group of 15 for lunch. The welcome was warm, the food authentic and well-cooked. Appetizers featured top-quality cheeses and cured meats, and first courses were carefully prepared with carefully chosen sauces and carefully chosen ingredients. It's a shame we didn't get to try the second courses, but we'll be back. Kudos to the owner, who created a lovely atmosphere, while also ensuring the quality of the food and impeccable service.

13/11/2025: Excellent family-run restaurant near Castel Sant'Angelo, where you can enjoy mostly traditional Roman dishes, carefully prepared. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Prices are reasonable. A regular stop on my Roman trips.

You enter and are immediately greeted by an atmosphere that feels like home, surrounded by the Chef's mementos and a warm, welcoming decor that immediately puts you at ease. The dishes are a journey through true Roman cuisine, a lifetime of memories and a love for food that comes through in every dish. Even a simple dish is brought to its best. The desserts are anything but ordinary, the result of meticulous research that manages to amaze with their sheer deliciousness, even when faced with the most daring creations... try the peach dessert, you won't regret it. For me, this place is a sure thing, a corner of culinary paradise amidst all the chaos of Rome.

30/11/2025: A minimal yet welcoming restaurant in the heart of Centocelle, spread across two rooms. The welcome was warm, and the chef's entree was well received. The menu was short but intriguing. I tried many dishes, but none particularly impressed me. The calamari with escarole was good quality but dry, the giardiniera with cod was good, but the cod was over-proportioned and lacking in flavor, the fritter was good and tasty, even if it lacked the accompanying yogurt. The fusilloni were decent, and the tonnarelli were good. I didn't appreciate the amatriciana, however, as the sauce was too sweet and completely muted the flavor of the dish. To finish, the doughnuts were tasteless, the frangipane tart was unremarkable, and the ricotta and persimmon dessert was completely unrelated. The bill was reasonable. Friendly service and reasonable wait times. I expected something more given the good reviews. The cuisine certainly has a good hand, but I would review the choice of some raw materials and reevaluate the taste and balance of some dishes.

23/11/2025: This is how it should be: simply good food with excellent ingredients, skillfully composed. It seems that in Italy, getting decent food is truly a human right. In this case, it's also fantastic value for money (superb wines for around €20 a bottle!!!). ❤️ Go there if you're in the area. 🍷

03/12/2025: A perfect restaurant in the heart of Rome, a few steps from the Pantheon. In my opinion, the pasta is the tastiest in Rome and of course the truffle is the star of most dishes. The ingredients are precise, the flavors are deep and the atmosphere is just the right amount of elegant Roman.

21/10/2025: We arrived here by chance... We found a family welcome... The food was nothing short of amazing... The appetizer was excellent with cured meats and sgabei, the polenta with mushrooms was amazing, and the onion jam was simply fantastic... Then to finish, a tiramisu made on the spot that was a dream... We'll be back soon...

07/10/2025: Loved this unassuming spot along the Lungotevere. Food delicious (baked figs!), wine local and perfect, staff relaxed and kind. We enjoyed the classics with a lighter twist. Will be back.

The waitresses are very helpful, we had a great time, from starter to dessert, the flavors are balanced, the products are seasonal, and the quantities are perfect. A truly good, gourmet and welcoming restaurant. Thank you, we will be happy to come back!

30/11/2025: We randomly stumbled across this place and let me tell you, this was THE BESTTT gelato I have ever had. It was so good I had a second one right after! Words cant describe how good the pistachio and hazelnut were. I have had my fair share of gelato but this is hands down the best one I have ever had. I would travel an hour just to have it again. 11/10. If you're not coming here , you are absolutely missing out

11/11/2025: What a wonderful experience we had last night! Went here as per a recommendation and it more than met our expectations. Our family of Canadians, was greeted with a warm welcome, even with us speaking no Italian apart from please and thank you. All dishes we had were thoughtfully prepared and delish.. and if you doubt me, consider this… I was there with the world’s pickiest kid, and she finished her meal first! Why stand in line at the “Olive Garden-esk” eateries that are all too prevalent in Rome, when you could dine here? It wasn’t pretentious it was fabulous.
