VEGUSTIBUS In Roma

I visited during a vacation in Rome. It's a great place for breakfast, a snack, or to shop for groceries, with their fantastic products.

If you're in Rome, you can't miss this place, whether for breakfast or a quick lunch. You can find all kinds of vegan products here, both sweet and savory. The Maritozzo is fantastic. The owners are very friendly and approachable. I'll definitely be back if I ever pass through Rome again.

During my stay in Rome, I went twice and was very pleased both times. Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was also excellent and friendly. I highly recommend it.

YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO GO TO VEGUSTIBUS (vegan or not)! During our vacation in Rome, we stopped at Vegustibus for a dessert after lunch, and as soon as we entered, we were overwhelmed by the aroma of maritozzi. We had the maritozzo with Chantilly cream...incredible. €2.50 for a huge (and I mean huge) maritozzo that is every bit as good as the "normal" ones; in fact, I found it better than the ones I ate before going vegan. While we were there, we couldn't help but take a look around, and it was a real experience: a classic grocery store, with everything you could possibly need and the classic deli counter with products on display. It puts you in a good mood because, for a moment, it gives you the illusion of living an ordinary day in a perfect world without animal exploitation. We returned the next day to stock up before leaving: we had the pizza stuffed with stracchino and mortadella, the pinsa with sweet gorgonzola and mortadella, supplì carbonara, with eggplant and classic, another delicious maritozzo, and a tiramisu. It was all phenomenal, truly delicious. Another reason to go are the owners, two wonderful, sweet, and genuine people who make you feel at home. I thank them with all my heart for creating this little paradise on earth; they are angels who put their heart into what they do because they truly believe in it (not like those places that use veganism to get rich). A big hug, we can't wait to return to Rome to visit you again! P.S. The value for money is phenomenal.

This is a long-overdue review, but I really wanted to share our experience because this shop truly deserves it. We visited in May, and this was one of the places we were most excited about - visiting here was almost as important as seeing Rome's famous landmarks. 😄 The shop may be small, but it's packed with everything you could think of—sweet and savory food, fresh products, frozen items, and lots of things we had never seen before. The owners made the visit even more special. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in where we had come from and what we wanted to try. They also gave us some great local food recommendations. We bought a couple of delicious sandwiches (which were made fresh for us) and some items that could survive the trip back home in this hot weather. Just before we left, they gifted us some of their homemade pastries. They were amazing, even the next day! You can really see that they love what they do and care about the vegan community. If you're in Rome, I highly recommend stopping by, trying their products, and supporting this wonderful shop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Rome!

Yesterday, for the first time, I finally managed to come to Vegustibus! Super-stocked shop, from sweet to savory, from cold cuts to cheeses, from seitan to tofu—in short, whatever you're craving, you're sure to find it here! The owners are incredibly helpful and ready to offer advice based on your needs. I hope to be able to come back soon 💚🌱

A cozy and informal little place that's both a vegan grocery store and a café/pastry shop, serving sweet and savory treats made fresh every day. Flaky and not only, they're filled in a wide variety of ways (also available on the spot upon request, as well as by reservation, and already on display from early morning), incredibly light and delicious. I especially recommend the pan goccioli and maritozzi for their soft and fluffy dough, which literally melts in your mouth. They can be filled any way you like, or even Marco's own way (he's highly recommended!), but the saccottini, both flaky and sandwich-style, are also mouth-watering. The owners, Marco and Matilde, are two helpful, friendly, and accommodating people, ready to satisfy every request, always with a smile and a warm welcome. Among the products on sale, there are always niche gems waiting to be discovered. A little vegan corner of peace and delight for the taste buds 🫶🏽💙

An exceptional assortment of vegan options, including plant-based cured meats, cheeses, and every imaginable dessert. Recommended for everyone.

My partner and I came to this supermarket in mid June during our holiday in Italy. We found nice Italian vegan spreads (pistachio and hazelnut). There was an entire fridge of vegan Italian mock meats. The product range was amazing. The man who was there used his phone to translate between English and Italian, which we were so grateful for. He was absolutely beautiful to interact with, he was so kind too - he gave us an Italian candy as a souvenir. He made recommendations for pastries and they were heavenly! As you can see from my photos, my partner ran away from me to eat them as I wanted some too! I went back and bought more 🤣 these pastries were absolutely blissful and would have them again if I go back to Rome!

Fantastic shop where I could buy anything! Very friendly and helpful owners. The stuffed ciavattas are all delicious! The maritozzo with vegan cream and the pistachio cream puff pastry are delicious!!
