24/05/2025: Friendliness, quality and hospitality. I haven't been going to Venere caffe for long, but I have to say that they immediately put you at ease. Vairo, Vanni and Debora are an exceptional team! For lunch they always have unique and ingenious solutions, very tasty! In addition, they have now also introduced some new fantastic and delicious burgers. 100 points to Venere caffe

07/05/2025: We dropped in here for some breakfast and coffee and it was even better than we expected. Great service from everyone working and the food/coffee was delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough!

25/05/2025: Classification of a trattoria of the past, abundant and good dishes and above all the seasoning of how they prepare the dishes, you get up from the table full but not heavy and this means that they cook like they used to... with good products, compliments... family atmosphere, you feel at home, thanks

07/06/2025: Definitely suggestive and speakeasy-themed environment. Friendly and professional staff, much appreciated. The only note that could be improved, being a secret bar, is a greater attention to the "true nature" (workshop) of the entrance itself. Overall excellent cocktails (among the best found) and a very positive experience.

25/05/2025: Mallllll Fui 2 veces, una vez compré una cerca y la segunda a los 2 días con mi señora , cuando compré la cerveza me pasaron la tarjeta por 1916.14 , lamentablemente me di cuenta de la estafa a varios días de haber salido de Roma, desconoci ese consumo pero l tarjeta salió a favor de ellos. No hay q tener confianza por mejor trato q haya. Delincuentes

25/05/2025: I came in with a friend and we had to attend a show in the place opposite, so we were in a hurry. We ordered 3 bruschettas, oil and salt and still water, the wait was exaggerated for 3 slices of bread to toast, the owner got stressed....total? 12 euros, we left and he didn't even say hello. Terrible place.....the oil on the bruschettas was non-existent, the owner was rude.

21/05/2025: Finalmente una pizzeria dove non ti servono la solita pizza surgelata senza glutine e lattosio. Impasto fresco e nel menù ci sono citate lo opzioni senza glutine accanto alle pizze normali. Una festa. Tutte le varianti senza lattosio. Veloci, ospitali e consegnano a domicilio.

30/05/2025: Just a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the pasta was incredible and we were lucky to get the last table. Pricing is more than fair for the quality you get there. When in Rome again we will difinitively be back.

18/06/2025: The best focaccia in Rome. I'm not exaggerating. None of the focaccias recommended on Instagram are on par with those made here. The burrata is unforgettable. Spectacular. The most memorable part of my Eurotrip. It will forever remain in my heart. The only thing missing is some tables outside, but even sitting on the sidewalk, it's a gastronomic experience not to be missed.

12/06/2025: My husband got the burrata sandwich which was great - good quality ingredients and well balanced. I got the caprese which was not good at all. The lettuce wilted and the mayo tasted off after being heated up. Unfortunately it didn’t say anywhere that that sandwich is being served hot or I wouldn’t have ordered it due to the lettuce and mayo. Additionally and what frustrated me the most is that I asked to make one substitution and was told that they don’t make changes. However, the next customer - who was a man - asked for a change to his sandwich which they happily accommodated. Either be consistent and don’t allow changes or allow it for any customer, no matter their color or sex.

The service is warm and attentive, striking a balance between professional and personal. The wine list is a standout: well-curated, with thoughtful pairings guided by knowledgeable staff. Prices are slightly above average, but I find the quality and experience worth it. A solid choice for excellent food, serious wine, and genuine hospitality in Rome.

11/06/2025: Skipping the secondary points, I'll share my point of view about the dishes we ordered: one starter (Millefoglie) and two main courses (Ravioli with spinach and ricotta, and Fettuccine with truffles). They were all delicious – the ravioli came out on top. As for the desserts, the Torta Nera and the Tiramisú were simply perfect. I have not had a better tiramisu than this one since. I am sure this was the best restaurant we visited during our five-day trip to Rome. Regarding the prices, I think they are fair considering the quality of the food, the service, the location etc. Finally, I want to thank Anna Goldman (youtuber) for this tip and others about Rome.

04/06/2025: Excellent Sunday lunch also with treats like snails, rustic atmosphere and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
