01/05/2026: We were completely satisfied with Il Calascione restaurant, a charming location in the historic center of Arsoli. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with fast service and friendly staff, but above all, the dishes are exquisite! Local ingredients, excellent appetizers, and delicious first courses. We'll definitely be returning! Thanks to the owner for recommending beautiful places to visit in the area, especially the village of Cervara di Roma, which is spectacular!

06/05/2026: We ate pasta with eggplant, Buffalo pizza, pasta with chili, and I don't remember the last one. The food is really delicious, one of the best if not the best we ate during our vacation, the pasta with eggplant is great! True, the pasta with chili is really spicy, those who like it will like it. The service is great, the atmosphere is great, cozy, I really recommend it. Especially since the prices are affordable! They also treated us to cakes.

11/05/2026: Excellent facility. From the gym to the pool. The only shame is that despite there being plenty of parking outside, it's limited due to the proximity of another adjacent sports center.

04/05/2026: Dance, swimming pool, summer camp and birthday parties… I practically live in this sports centre because in addition to being all professionals they are always kind and helpful… after a while of going there you feel like part of the family 🥰🥰

07/05/2026: Horrible experience from a bald man that was cooking tonight. We walked in and asked for a table he did say it was 40 minutes which was too long for us to wait which was fair enough. As I walked out he just started shouting at me and saying I was pulling faces when what I was doing was telling my partner the wait time. Totally unnecessary. Certainly won’t be going here. The response below sums up the attitude I have mentioned above. Update he’s edited his response again.

12/04/2026: You need to forget about the long lines in the busiest restaurants and come here instead. Our local friends recommended it, and we had one of best carbonara and fettuccine with truffle that we had in our trip. Oh and get ready for the best bread you’ll ever have (has cheese in it!!). The Sicilian wine was also 10/10 and the women running it were the nicest. We can’t recommend it enough!!!

11/04/2026: Simply the best food we've had in Rome. We went here twice because the atmosphere and the food were so good. We ordered 4 different main courses as well as different antipasti and tiramisu - everything tasted so good! The owner is the sweetest, warmest lady who said that the place has been passed down through her family for generations. Remember to book a table in advance if you want to be sure to get a seat. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back 💛

07/10/2025: This restaurant deserves more exposure! On our last day of our trip, we were looking for something to eat near our Airbnb and found MANGIO, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip on a high note. We received EXCELLENT service from Antônio and Anika, both very kind and with a wonderful energy. We were impressed by their professionalism and charisma. This alone says a lot about the place and significantly changes the restaurant experience. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and pasta dishes, and everything was wonderful, tasty, and in good quantities. It was a great experience. Thank you, Antônio and Anika.

15/04/2026: I cannot rate this place highly enough. After three trips to Rome, this is my favorite restaurant we have eaten at. The owner and staff were personable and generous. Food was incredible. We ordered grilled octopus and carbonara. Both were spectacular. The octopus in particular was delicious. If we were here longer, we would come back again without a doubt!

01/05/2026: Impeccable dining experience in Rome near the Trevi. We were lucky enough to walk by and noticed that everyone there had a smile on their face. We decided to stop in the following night and were so glad we did. As many other reviews mention not only is the food amazing but the service is incredible. A true family dining experience where you could tell the entire team joins together to create the best experience possible for their diners. Everything was exceptional and we will absolutely be back next time we are in Rome!! Valentino truly made the night extra special and we all walked away grateful for the experience. In the midst of all the tourist traps this was so special!

26/04/2026: This must be the most positive surprise we had in Rome. Our expectations were not high, given the location just off of the extremely busy and touristy Via del Corso. Regardless, this cozy restaurant delivered in every way. Service was absolutely first class. Our waiter, Valentino, clearly takes great pride in his work. He provided excellent recommendations, was very professional but friendly - a true Italian gentleman. Food was great. The baked artichokes he recommended were the best we've had in Italy and the pastas were excellent, especially the carbonara. The Tiramisu has tough competition but was up there among the best. The crowd was a bit odd, almost like a random mix of tourists and locals, but that didn't hurt the vibe. It was strangely serene and quiet on the small outdoor terrace where we sat, despite its proximity to the busy main street. Soft and enjoyable music was playing in the background. If weather/temperature permits, I'd definitely sit outside but inside seemed cozy enough as well. We will definitely be coming back to this place.
