I highly recommend the dishes with truffles or local mushrooms: intense flavors and top-quality ingredients. • Second Courses: Perfectly cooked meat, tender and flavorful. • Desserts: A divine conclusion. Don't leave without trying the dessert of the day! The Service The staff is the real added value: welcoming, knowledgeable, and never intrusive. They make you feel "at home" in an enchanted castle, guiding you in your wine selection with great expertise.

05/05/2026: We came to this place almost disoriented, knowing nothing about the place and the truly remarkable culinary experience it offers. The owners immediately put us at ease, treating us like we were at home. We even arrived outside of normal hours, and instead of turning us away, they were so kind and courteous that they even explained the wonderful legends of Cacata to us. What can we say, aside from their great courtesy, they are, above all, great chefs and expert restaurateurs. We ate wild boar and a veal cheek marinated and cooked for 20 hours, so tender and truly delicious. We will definitely be back; they have become our favorites.

02/05/2026: We had a really good meal! The restaurant has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, with very kind and helpful staff. The gnocchi were truly excellent, well-made and flavorful, definitely worth trying. The music was also a special mention: unusual for a restaurant, but pleasant and created a unique atmosphere. The service was fast and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

15/03/2026: I went to La Strega Nocciola today. The gelato was good. I'm not giving it 5 stars because something is missing. For both the cone and the cup, you simply get scoops of gelato and nothing else.

Yet you always go to Ai Piani with the certainty of a wonderful evening. An authentic and excellent selection of seafood, solid traditional cuisine, superb signature dishes, exquisite side dishes, a wine list designed by those who know how to drink, by connoisseurs (and not just to put on a show). Even the desserts are a treat. The staff is courteous and friendly. In short, you can be a restaurant for the wealthy while still offering refined sincerity and a certain quality, even after many years of success. Long live Ai Piani.

31/03/2026: The best restaurant of the 4 days we have been in Rome. A quiet and uncrowded place where you can enjoy original and different Italian dishes. We ordered an artichoke Risone, pasta with anchovies and pork with apple. Everything was simply incredible! It has been a long time since I ate so well.
