I cannot rate this place highly enough. After three trips to Rome, this is my favorite restaurant we have eaten at. The owner and staff were personable and generous. Food was incredible. We ordered grilled octopus and carbonara. Both were spectacular. The octopus in particular was delicious. If we were here longer, we would come back again without a doubt!

Since I was born in 1964, there was no way I could pass this restaurant by. We were the first guests and received as warm a welcome as one could wish for, personal and individual! The food was excellent and delicious. We'll definitely be back!

The food was, of course, superb—fresh and homemade. The drinks, especially the wine recommendation, were also perfect. The waiter, Antonio, was a sight to behold. This is exactly how we imagine a restaurant visit in Rome should be. We usually never go to the same restaurant twice on our holidays. However, since we enjoyed it so much on the first evening, we went there every night. Warm greetings from Bavaria to Antonio from his blonde wife and Signore Totti

It was one of the best restaurants I have ever been too! The staff is very kind and energetic. The food... I have no words. Best. Pasta. Ever. I highly recommend coming here is you ever visit Rome!

07/10/2025: This restaurant deserves more exposure! On our last day of our trip, we were looking for something to eat near our Airbnb and found MANGIO, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip on a high note. We received EXCELLENT service from Antônio and Anika, both very kind and with a wonderful energy. We were impressed by their professionalism and charisma. This alone says a lot about the place and significantly changes the restaurant experience. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and pasta dishes, and everything was wonderful, tasty, and in good quantities. It was a great experience. Thank you, Antônio and Anika.
13/09/2025: Antonio is such a great guy, he recommended us a nice wine and we ordered some amazing things, some of the best food I've had in Rome. Thank you so much Antonio and Mangio.
