24/03/2025: Fantastic place. It's a bit old fashioned but in a really good way. The food was great. The welcome and the service were outstanding. Absolutely recommended. Book first, even early on a Monday evening people were being turned away.

25/03/2025: Incredible experience at El Maíz! If you are looking for authentic Venezuelan food, El Maíz is the perfect place. From the beginning, the service was impeccable, with a friendly and helpful staff that made the experience even better. The food is simply spectacular. I tried the arepas and the cachapas, both delicious, with fresh ingredients and flavors that transported me directly to Venezuela. I also recommend the empanadas, crispy on the outside and full of flavor on the inside. The atmosphere of the place is cozy, with a decoration that makes you feel at home. Also, the prices are fair for the quality and flavor of the food. Without a doubt, El Maíz has become my favorite place to enjoy Venezuelan cuisine. I will be back soon!

25/03/2025: A delightful location, excellent for business meetings or for an intimate evening, courteous service attentive to customer needs, as far as the food is concerned, everything to say, the parmigiana and the pork chops are absolutely worth trying, tasty and melt in the mouth, the pork-based meat dish with cabbage is excellent, tasty and particular. Price/quality ratio normal. When the quality of the raw material and professionalism come together they give excellent results. For the choice of wine we relied on Roberto, a rather apt choice.. I will have to return to try the first ones.

18/03/2025: Wonderful place with many different food options and off the beaten track from the more touristy areas. The carbonara with shrimp was very interesting, and enjoyed the boiled beef burger. Staff were lovely.

13/04/2025: City centre restaurant offering a full menu for vegans alongside the regular menu, which is an awesome find in any location! Origano was so good that we came twice, once for pasta and the next time for pizza. Both meals were fantastic, the prices were great value for money, and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend!

The proposals range from game to lake fish, excellent Tuscan crostini and fried gnocco, without neglecting the classics such as tagliatelle and gricia. Everything was really excellent, cooked with passion and professionalism. The owners are friendly and know how to recommend and explain the dishes. See you soon!

12/03/2025: One of the best DUCKS I've ever eaten. This is my first comment. In addition to the splendid cooking and glazing of the GRILLED DUCK BREAST, the first courses stand out with an excellent mix of Roman cuisine and dishes from other regions. Some dishes recall the French tradition. The fried artichokes in pieces are delicious among the appetizers. In short, there's a bit of everything on this menu: starting with a lot of quality 👏 The wine selection is not very long, but more than satisfactory for a place of this type. Compliments to the staff and the chef: very kind, welcoming and helpful. Customer care should never be underestimated. We'll see each other again 😉

10/04/2025: This is what pizza should be like. If there's anything to complain about, it's the lack of space! Top shelf in terms of taste, price, and appearance!!! A must-visit for pizza freaks of all kinds!!!

10/04/2025: We found it and loved it. A simple, convenient place with crispy, delicious thin-crust pizzas. It has a bar where you can sit. We tried several and liked them all.

11/04/2025: Mom, how well I ate here, simple, friendly service, spaghetti alla amatriciana and carbonara are too good, the guanciale of the amatriciana is spectacular, if you are in Termini you have to stop by, prices in line with the area but high quality, congratulations.

12/12/2024: It is very easy to write a positive review by getting married on a clear day, with mild weather and a reasonable number of guests. We got married on December 8, 2024. It was cold, raining and we had about 180 guests. The event was more than a success: we ate very well, we spent wonderful time together with our guests, we danced, laughed and joked, everything took place in an extremely organized and meticulous way. A round of applause to all the staff at Villa Pocci; in particular to the director Francesco, to Mirkeda and to the maitre for their great professionalism: they always made us feel at ease, they always calmed all our doubts, they always gave us very useful advice... exquisite human people. We add that the post-event suite is really beautiful and comfortable. Honestly beyond our expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! For us it was a 6 out of 5 stars. Timoteo and Eleonora

Thank you to the director Francesco, to Mirkeda and to the director of the hall Amleto for the kindness, professionalism and for having accompanied us from the first day and for the whole wedding event following with a careful eye everything in the smallest details…because a wedding cannot be improvised! Thank you to all the wonderful staff of the villa that was impeccable. What can we say about the food…we received only compliments, really well done everyone! The beauty of the villa is then indisputable: elegant, romantic, sober but above all with a breathtaking terrace! We immediately fell in love with this place and we had no doubts…We had to get married here! The only negative thing? It lasted too little!

05/04/2025: We ended up there by chance. It was a stroke of luck, it's not often that you find simple, intimate places with good food in such a touristy city as Rome. We ate an exquisite steak with potatoes. The waiters and service were top!

03/04/2025: This restaurant is located just a short walk from the Toledo Fountain. The carbonara, vongole, calamari, and octopus salad were shared by three people and were just the right amount. The taste is also very good.
