06/05/2026: I went by last night, it's unbelievable how they can rip off a tourist. The owners must be millionaires with the absurd prices they charge just for being a tourist—19 euros for a dessert! And don't even get me started on their attitude.

08/12/2025: We found this place by chance; we were looking for a place that served typical local products, and it lived up to our expectations. We were greeted with kindness and courtesy by the staff, who explained everything and served us what we asked for. The food was excellent and the prices were average. I highly recommend it.
07/12/2025: I went there recently, it was my first time. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were very fast and knowledgeable, the food was good, and if I were to return to Monterotondo, I would definitely eat here again. It's truly worth it.

07/06/2026: Simon took great care of us at dinner tonight while eating on the sidewalk with a fan to keep us cool in the warm Rome weather. Delicious pastas. Great evening at reasonable prices for our group of 10. Gnochi, lasagna and the carbonara were the favorites of the pastas we ate!!

17/05/2026: Delicious sandwiches! Don't miss this stop if you are near the Vatican and need a bite to eat. They offer many varieties for all tastes and price points. Don't let a line deter you. Their service is quick. The shop is small and only has a few tables - one inside and a few outside the shop. But there is a small, quiet courtyard next to the shop with a cute nasone. Head to the back of the courtyard and you'll find a shade tree with a ledge that provides you with a spot to rest while you enjoy your sandwich.

21/05/2026: We stayed for one night at the Hassler and were so impressed by the service and the beautiful hotel. From the airport pickup to checkout and everything in between, EVERYONE took such good care of us. The room was beautiful and impeccably clean and the beds were so comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed sweeping views while eating a delicious meal. It was a one-of-a-kind experience. Special shout out to Vito at the front desk who took the time to talk to us about all our concerns and made us feel so welcome on our first trip to Rome.

31/05/2026: A flashy place, but no quality whatsoever. We ordered two dishes: 1. Grilled chicken with vegetables (€18) and 2. Homemade meatballs with grandma's sauce (€16). They brought me a boiled chicken breast with a few green beans, and my husband got four bland, dry meatballs in sauce. 😀 I would never go back. 🥲
25/05/2026: Recently renovated and revitalized from an intimate and historic neighborhood restaurant after a long closure, the new, modern, yet elegant, atmosphere still feels a bit cold and in need of personalization. The cuisine remains classic and reliable, with a good selection of meat and seafood, traditional Roman first courses, and a few daily specials. Friendly service and an evolving wine list are also available.

03/05/2026: The sandwiches may be good, but waiting exactly 20 minutes from ordering to receiving them is absurd, considering there were only four people in the restaurant beforehand. A sandwich is supposed to be a quick snack, and waiting 20 minutes defeats the purpose of the sandwich, which is supposed to be a quick snack.
03/05/2026: While strolling through the Trastevere neighborhood, we decided to have lunch at Donkey Punch and we weren't disappointed! They have a great selection of sandwiches, and even if you don't find what you're looking for, you can create your own. The team is incredibly cheerful, and you really get the joy of sharing good food made with quality ingredients (big shout-out to the enormous porchetta that's already making your mouth water in the display case). We loved it so much that we came back the next day for our last lunch in Rome.

29/03/2026: An excellent Frascati winery. The welcome and service were impeccable. The two ever-smiling waitresses led us through a lunch where every course was delicious. Every now and then, the owner would stop by and ask us how things were going with grace and cheerfulness. Definitely worth a try!

Frascati was recommended to us. I ate a proper pork shank: large, juicy, and cooked with the patience only true chefs know. The meat falls off the bone like butter, and every bite is a caress to the heart. Highly recommended!!!
