03/11/2025: Had a nice evening. Weather was good and I really enjoyed the pasta I ordered. The food is costly but since it tasted good - I didn’t mind the pricing. I would have given half a point extra - but the turn off was the desperation of the staff to try and get you to get the expensive product. As a restauranteur myself - I always tell my team to avoid this. Never try and sell an expensive dish. See what the customer wants and what they will enjoy the most. An upscale space like this should serve bread with they pasta so we can lap the sauce but no. The guy constantly was trying to sell the most expensive wine or bread - so if they didn’t do that - would have been more genuine. Otherwise food was very good.

02/11/2025: Delicious food and excellent service! We booked a table in advance since this place is very popular, and we felt well taken care of throughout the whole evening. I ordered the lobster pasta and it was amazing, though I wish there had been a bit more lobster considering the price. Overall, a great experience!

07/10/2025: Loved this unassuming spot along the Lungotevere. Food delicious (baked figs!), wine local and perfect, staff relaxed and kind. We enjoyed the classics with a lighter twist. Will be back.

05/10/2025: Our best discovery in Rome. A charming, warm, and delicious restaurant. The waitresses are very helpful, we had a great time, from starter to dessert, the flavors are balanced, the products are seasonal, and the quantities are perfect. A truly good, gourmet and welcoming restaurant. Thank you, we will be happy to come back!

29/10/2025: A great experience. We were a group of 15 for lunch. The welcome was warm, the food authentic and well-cooked. Appetizers featured top-quality cheeses and cured meats, and first courses were carefully prepared with carefully chosen sauces and carefully chosen ingredients. It's a shame we didn't get to try the second courses, but we'll be back. Kudos to the owner, who created a lovely atmosphere, while also ensuring the quality of the food and impeccable service.

09/11/2025: I asked for a cake to be delivered as a surprise for a birthday. Since I don't live in Rome, I was worried it might be a bit complicated, but we had everything organized in ten minutes. They were precise and very friendly, the delivery was super punctual, and the cake was beautiful, delicious, and well-crafted.

24/10/2025: What a lovely find! The best service we have had in 3 weeks of travel in Sicily and Rome. Our two waiters were so attentive and charming and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and it all had such a nice neighbourhood vibe. Very local dishes (fried artichokes and a delicious puntarelle) that you don’t see on every menu but one of the waiters was quick to come over and explain that pizza is a dinner thing in Rome and was not available at lunchtime. Top marks to him and his colleague who practised his very good French with us when he learned that we were from Montreal.

23/10/2025: We just arrived in Rome and popped in 15 minutes before closing, and they happily served us. The pizza was delicious. One was just right for both of us. The nearly empty plate confirms this 😅 I'm just not a fan of crust and always leave the edges.

21/10/2025: We arrived here by chance... We found a family welcome... The food was nothing short of amazing... The appetizer was excellent with cured meats and sgabei, the polenta with mushrooms was amazing, and the onion jam was simply fantastic... Then to finish, a tiramisu made on the spot that was a dream... We'll be back soon...

31/10/2025: Thanks to a bonus from the website (you can see its name in the photo), I decided to treat myself to something nice. The shrimp pasta exceeded all expectations — rich sauce, full flavor, and a generous portion. Didn’t spend it all, but this meal definitely made my evening much better. I wish every dinner was like this!

12/11/2025: We went to this place for dinner. It was a very nice place. The service was excellent, the young woman was very kind, and the admirable thing was that, even though she was alone, she was always there for us and all the other guests. The food was excellent and refined, and the appetizers offered by the chef were delicious... the only downside was that the starters, unfortunately, lacked that special something that makes the difference. Anyway, I hope the chef takes this into consideration... we'll be back soon!!

18/10/2025: A small, authentic trattoria with a family atmosphere and authentic cuisine. The cacio e pepe is spectacular, but the other dishes are delicious too. A+++.

14/10/2025: This is a true Roman osteria, like few others. A small restaurant in Garbatella with 5-6 tables and an outdoor area with another 4, but the cuisine is impressive, thanks to the owner's love and dedication to tradition. The menu is simple and a distillation of Roman cuisine. The price point is simple: €10 for first courses and €11 for second courses, but the ingredients and the care taken in preparing it are top-quality. We had a truly outstanding cacio e pepe, perfectly cooked tonnarelli, and a textbook sauce. For our main course, we had Roman-style tripe with a side of pan-fried chicory; the tripe was even better than the tripe made by my wife's grandmother, who is also Roman. To finish, we had cookies baked by the owner's grandmother. We left happy to have taken a little trip down memory lane of Rome, and we're sure we'll be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

11/11/2025: What a wonderful experience we had last night! Went here as per a recommendation and it more than met our expectations. Our family of Canadians, was greeted with a warm welcome, even with us speaking no Italian apart from please and thank you. All dishes we had were thoughtfully prepared and delish.. and if you doubt me, consider this… I was there with the world’s pickiest kid, and she finished her meal first! Why stand in line at the “Olive Garden-esk” eateries that are all too prevalent in Rome, when you could dine here? It wasn’t pretentious it was fabulous.

03/11/2025: Good food, good quality, recommended. The system works like this: they weigh your plate each time you fill it, you finish your plate, take a new one, and they weigh it again. At the end, you pay the total weight. I'm giving it 4 stars because they weigh both the food and the plate each time, so it's worth filling your plate to the brim. Each plate is quite heavy even without food.
