05/06/2026: Quiet and relaxing atmosphere in the San Giovanni in Persiceto area. Quick lunch, reasonably priced for the quality. Four of us ordered two pork cheeks with potato flan from the weekday menu, and two plates of passatelli with white sausage and red radicchio. The dishes were good, the meat tender and falling apart, and the sausage was also very good. Four of us also ordered their signature dish, Fritto Casona: battered mixed vegetables with zucchini, eggplant, Ascoli olives, fried polenta, onion rings, potatoes, and mozzarella in carrozza. It's a dry, crispy, lightly fried dish, perfectly salty, and not heavy. We also ordered fresh seasonal fruit, pineapple, strawberries, and a zuppa inglese, a bit thick compared to the soft, creamy trifles we've come to expect. Degustibus. With still and sparkling water and coffee, the four of us spent about €80. We were very satisfied. Welcoming and attentive staff, very respectful, not oppressive and quick in service.

02/06/2026: We organized an end-of-year school lunch. They were incredibly accommodating to everyone's needs at a great price. The service was impeccable and fast, and the wait staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We also ordered the cake, which was truly delicious. The place is perfect for children, and the service was excellent for this type of occasion. Thank you for your patience and availability.
