11/04/2026: Business lunch. 4 stars for the atmosphere because it's very small and cozy. The furniture is dated but efficient, and the entrance isn't immediately obvious. But for the rest... Impeccable service, fast and very friendly, and food worthy of a chef who, in my opinion, even has the virtue of walking between the tables to greet customers. I recommend the "Tortellini degli dei" and the strictly seared tagliata. The roast potatoes are delicious and not greasy. Well done.

05/04/2026: Well, what can I say...? The only positive note was the girl in the dining room, extremely kind, nice, and friendly, and really the only good reason not to give everything a star. About lunch: - From appetizer to main course, we waited an hour (6 tables in total, not 40). - The first courses left a lot to be desired. Tagliatelle cacio e pepe with pasta that was too thick, probably due to excessive use of cream and overcooked pasta. Tagliatelle with ragù with excessively fatty meat and a long, unpleasant aftertaste. - Grilled food: forget it. Probably made with meat that wasn't the freshest and tasted decidedly stale. Everyone was very kind, and I hate to write this kind of review (I'm not even one to be harsh, quite the opposite), but this lunch was definitely forgettable and avoidable. I seriously doubt I'll return or recommend it.

03/03/2026: I went there last night for dinner with friends I hadn't seen in years. It's a shame the location is a bit out of the way (and it was also quite foggy), but it was worth it. We were served meatballs as an appetizer, and for a main course I had tagliolini with prosciutto sauce, guinea fowl roll with potatoes, and tenerina with mascarpone for dessert. Others chose gnocco and tigelle, and the prosciutto was excellent (I tried a couple of slices). I didn't bring much wine because I had to drive, and coffee (the one was a bit weak). All in all, it cost €40, a fair price, especially considering the size of the dishes. Incidentally, the waitress who served us was a lovely young woman: kind, lively, quick, and always smiling. A lovely Friday evening. I missed it. Thank you.

07/02/2026: It's a winter evening, so I haven't seen it in its entirety (I'm told it has a lovely summer patio). You're welcomed into a rustic, warm, and intimate room, and you immediately spot the dessert counter: sfrappole, mustard ravioli, sweet tortelloni... Mmm... We had mushroom tart, passatelli, wild boar stew, and a Bolognese cutlet: well-defined, very tender flavors, everything delicious. The red wine, produced on site, was excellent and easy to digest. All this was accompanied by the kindness and cheerfulness of the owner and waitresses. We'll be back in the summer.

16/03/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience last night at this restaurant, a place I'd enjoyed and frequented several times in the past. A few days earlier, I'd called to make a reservation, clearly explaining that we were coming for dinner to celebrate a birthday and that we'd like to stay until midnight for the cake. I'd requested a table at 9:30 PM, but was told over the phone that the kitchen closed at that time. To accommodate the restaurant, I therefore moved the reservation up to 8:30 PM. Once we arrived and enjoyed a leisurely dinner, around 10:30 PM the owner asked us if we wanted to bring the cake. We simply replied that we were waiting until midnight, as I'd explained when making the reservation. He was visibly annoyed. To avoid any tension, I decided to call it a night and take the cake away. At the register, the situation escalated: I calmly pointed out that we'd probably misunderstood each other on the phone, but the owner began to get angry, even going so far as to tell me to go fuck myself. He also wanted to charge us a single bill of around €700 for eight people with a single POS terminal, which we refused, simply asking to split the bill. After much difficulty, the bill was split. I paid my share, leaving a few euros as a tip, but the owner had the terrible idea of ​​throwing the money on the floor, continuing his very rude behavior. This was truly unacceptable and unprofessional behavior, especially towards customers who had been there several times and who, until yesterday, had appreciated it. Unfortunately, after this experience, I can only recommend this restaurant against it.

30/03/2026: A very diverse selection of tap beers. A well-stocked fridge and some takeaway items are also available. A good place to grab a bite to eat. Great atmosphere. One of the best pubs in Bologna.

23/03/2026: The worst sushi I've ever eaten! The photos are nothing like what you actually get. The tuna rolls were made with canned tuna! None of them had avocado! The salmon had chewy white patches… A total rip-off!

20/03/2026: Although I'm not a big sushi restaurant regular, I have to say that Megu Lab in Bologna was a pleasant surprise. I ate very well, with carefully prepared dishes and an overall more than satisfactory quality. The place is clean, spacious, and well-organized, ideal even when it's busy. Service is quick and efficient, with no long waits. The price is fair for what's on offer. I recommend it to anyone in the area who's craving sushi.

10/02/2026: Great atmosphere, good music and great vibes, and a wide selection of beers. The only downside is that the kitchen is closed after midnight. Recommendation

01/02/2026: Really good pub I highly recommend going, Bepe the manager is a genuinely nice guy and is passionate and knowledgeable about Beer. I went there twice when I was in the city for work for 4 days, first time I had the burger and a few beers which was excellent, second time many different beers recommended by Bepe! Good music, good atmosphere, good beer (plenty of local craft beers).

15/02/2026: As always, a sure thing, all that's missing is a sofa in the dining room and it's like being at home. Vito, as always, is an exceptional host, the dining room staff would be cloned to have in every restaurant in Italy, in short, absolutely worth trying... 👏🏻

26/02/2026: Vote 8/10 Really good pizza, especially the dough. This is a well-known place across all bologna and it's been my favorite pizza place since I live in bologna. Their speciality is the "stretched" ("tirata") pizza, which make the pizza crunchy, combined that with the great quality and flavor of the pizza make up for great pizza 🙂. If you go here I suggest you to select a pizza with the standard dough but in stretched version, imo is the best combination. The only downside of this place is the price, in my opinion slightly pricy. Staff is great and super kind! Make sure to get a reservation as it's usually really busy :).

05/04/2026: We returned to Parco dei Ciliegi for Easter lunch, and as always, it was a confirmation. We had a large table of 22, including a woman and a child with celiac disease. Despite the fixed holiday menu, they were exceptional: for my cousin, they adapted the entire menu to include gluten-free products, while for my celiac son, they allowed him to order à la carte (gluten-free), just like for the other five children in the group. Being an AIC-certified restaurant, eating here means absolute peace of mind, a significant added value these days. Special thanks go to Marco, who served us: a wonderful, kind man with infinite patience in managing such a large and diverse group. Thank you for accommodating our every need with a smile. Highly recommended, and a well-deserved 5 stars! We will definitely be back.

15/03/2026: Very small location. One cook (it appeared) and one server (appears to be owner). Owner gave great recommendations (in English) and the food was fantastic. There on weeknight and was able to walk in - Definitely has a local's vibe at times. Service will be slow, just accept it. It wasn't unfriendly or forgetful - but only one person for 7-10 tables has a limited speed it can run. Would absolutely eat here again.

The place is a bit small but still nice and clean, welcoming, and well-organized. What can I say? If you want to combine high-quality food with dishes that are not only delicious but also aesthetically pleasing, with pleasant, intimate, and quiet company, this is the place to be. Thanks for the service, even though we arrived without a reservation and only had to say hello to our friends for 5 minutes. In the end, we sat down to eat and drink, and everything was perfect: food, service, and atmosphere.
