Il Cantuccio In Bologna

Really cool place, you get to decide what you want out thier fresh seafood disk, then its a really plain bbq out of the food items you pick, but the quality of the things you pick are amazing!!! It was kinda confussing but the cashier explains everything in english if you dont speak italian Great place. Def rekommend!!!

A wonderful seafood restaurant and easily one of the best meals I have had on this trip. Everything was fresh, beautifully cooked, and full of flavour. The complimentary fish ball was a lovely little start, delicate and tasty. The plaice was excellent — tender, moist, and served with a rich but well-balanced sauce that brought out the sweetness of the fish without overwhelming it. The highlight for me was the pasta with green sauce and squid ink. It was absolutely delicious: rich, aromatic, perfectly cooked, and deeply satisfying. The sauce had a beautiful depth of flavour, with the seafood and pasta coming together perfectly. It was the kind of dish you remember long after the meal. The grilled seafood platter was also very good, with fresh prawns, squid, and fish, nicely grilled and seasoned. The breadcrumb crust added great texture while still letting the seafood shine. Service was pleasant, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the whole experience felt both refined and genuinely enjoyable. Highly recommended — especially for the green sauce seafood pasta.

We had a great time. The place is welcoming and exudes serenity through its use of colors and details. The bathroom is clean and the staff is friendly. I enjoyed the food and appreciated that it was seasonal. I noticed several regulars returning to order specific dishes, in good company and with a good sense of humor, a sign of quality that has endured over time. Prices are around €25 per dish, even for appetizers.
