Worth a stop. This tavern serves excellent local produce, including crescentine, homemade pasta, and even tagliata. The aroma of stew wafts through, but it's too hot to try (at lunch). Good value. Highly recommended for those traveling between Bologna and Florence. Located 500 meters from the Rioveggio exit on the panoramic highway. Kudos to the host, he's truly friendly!

We stopped here yesterday for lunch on our way back from vacation. The restaurant is just off the highway, so it's very convenient.
A varied menu, with traditional dishes. The waitress was friendly, kind, and attentive. The bill was fair.
We'll definitely consider it again when we're passing through.

A very nice place for an excellent traditional lunch. Appetizers include crescentine and tigelle, excellent local cured meats, and Modena pesto. Truly excellent homemade first courses. The waitress was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
The only drawback is the limited parking spaces nearby.

An impromptu lunch along the highway, with a short detour from the scenic stretch. The restaurant is simple and rustic, but very clean. Authentic traditional cuisine, very tasty dishes!
Very soft fried gnocco accompanied by delicious cured meats. Tagliatelle cacio e pepe all'Emiliana (ham, pepper, and parmesan) were creamy and flavorful. And the venison stew? Delicious! Absolutely worthy of the restaurant's name!!
Highly recommended. The prices are truly fair, a rarity these days! I'd go back!!
My only advice: book in advance and try to arrive very early! The chef, who is also the owner, is very kind but takes care of everything, from picking the herbs to preparing the bill, so...don't rush it!!

Excellent, worth a stop for a taste
A very welcoming and charming place. We appreciated the cleanliness, the service, and the quality of the food. We tried the appetizer with crescentine and cured meats, pasta dishes, sliced meats, and side dishes. Everything was excellent. The chef was friendly!
