We stopped for some tortelli before taking the pass, and they were delicious. It was a great place to stay inside, with the perfect amount of air conditioning, which allowed us to enjoy the tortelli to the fullest. My kids finished them all, and the portions were generous.

A restaurant in the hills of Bologna, founded in 1960. There were eight of us, and we ate well (I had the green tagliatelle with nettles, onion, and prosciutto, and the fried cream, and it was all delicious; my companions—who ate other dishes—were all satisfied with their food). Attached to the restaurant is a small hotel that, from the outside, appears modest. Located in the open countryside and slightly uphill, the temperature was wonderful (especially compared to the scorching, muggy weather of Bologna): in summer, it can be a welcome refuge from the heat. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

Truly, congratulations. I recommend the tortellacci with squacquerone and friggione. Honorable mention also for the baked potatoes and the meat. Excellent service and very kind and smiling staff. If I could, I'd eat there every day. Well done, well done, well done!

We had lunch at this restaurant during a bike ride. The rooms aren't particularly attractive, the service is fast and a bit rushed, and the prices are moderately low, but the food is excellent. We tried the tortelli with butter and sage and the tortellacci with burrata and friggione, both truly excellent. The fried cream is a must-try, and the ricotta and chocolate cake is truly delicious. So if you want to eat well without compromising on the experience, this is the perfect place. There is no outdoor seating.

Everything was very good. Excellent appetizers, very tender meat, and ravioli that tasted like grandma made them. Friendly staff, good prices.

We used the restaurant, with convenient outdoor parking. A typical osteria from the Bologna hills. Emilian specialties. Excellent food, generous portions. The place is very noisy. Prices are average for the area.

08/08/2026: The place is basic, but that's its beauty. The service is friendly but slow. As for the food, alas, I was disappointed. The much-lauded "crescentona" is actually a fried pizza, large and heavy to digest, nothing like the classic Bolognese crescentine. The tagliatelle with meat sauce are bland, lightly seasoned, and pale in color. The price is fair for the place, perfect for a day trip on hot days.

29/04/2026: Finally, in the village of Marzabotto, there's a good restaurant and a comfortable hotel, combined with a bar serving excellent croissants and cappuccinos, served to perfection. In the warmer months, you can be served at tables in the private garden. From appetizers to dessert, Emilian tradition reigns supreme at the restaurant. The first courses are excellent, the lasagna is truly delicious, my favorite, and among the main courses, the wild boar stew and polenta are mouth-watering. The dishes in general are all high-quality, served with kindness and attentiveness. The dining room, not particularly large but therefore intimate, is well-maintained and very clean. The soft music encourages good conversation, as does the wine selection. Excellent value for money... Book, try, and try again! At the MISA restaurant, you eat well and have a great time.
27/04/2026: Excellent restaurant! A stop at Gege's restaurant is a must for anyone passing through Marzabotto.
